Michael Rosemann stellt mit den Grundsätzen ordnungsmäßiger Modellierung (GoM) einen Ordnungsrahmen vor, mit dem Gestaltungsempfehlungen für eine bedarfsgerechte Prozeßmodellierung entworfen werden können.

Logistik und CIM nehmen mit unterschiedlichem Schwerpunkt die proze~orientierte Gestaltung betrieblicher Abl{ufe f}r sich in Anspruch. Ziel des Buches ist es, das unkoordinierte Nebeneinander der beiden Konzepteaufzuheben und durch eine gleichzeitige und abgestimmte Betrachtung des Material- und Informationsflusses die wechselseitigen Beziehungen aufzuzeigen. Als Betrachtungsgegenstand der Logistik wird ausschlie~lich der Materialflu~ definiert, CIM wird als Konzept derGestaltung des Informationsflusses vorgestellt. Unter Zugrundelegung einer funktional definierten Logistik werden f}r die Bereiche Beschaffung, Produktion, Distribution und Entsorgung ad{quate M|glichkeiten der informationsflu~technischen Unterst}tzung der jeweils anfallenden logistischen Aufgaben dargestellt ("Logistik aus Sicht des CIM"). Das Kapitel "CIM aus Sicht der Logistik" behandelt Integrationsaufgaben im Zusammenhang mit logistischen Fragestellungen, die funktions}bergreifenden Charakter haben. Hierunter ist u.a. die logistikgerechte Gestaltung der Produktionsplanung und -steuerung, der Konstruktion, der Arbeitsplanung und der CAM-Funktionen zu verstehen. Des weiteren wird untersucht, welchen Beitrag Logistik undCIM bei der Einbindung von gruppenzentrierten Organisationsformen - sowohl in der allgemeinen Form der Fertigungsinsel als auch in der technischen Auspr{gung eines flexiblen Fertigungssystems - in das betriebliche Umfeld leisten. Insbesondere durch die Betrachtung aktueller Themen (z.B.
