The Roman Catechism states that not only was Jesus free of sin but that Mary, too, was "...conceived and born free from original sin..." "(Roman) Catholic theology understands Mary's role in redemption to be directly related to her status as the mother of God. "(Pope) Pius IX stated: 'The most blessed Virgin, conceived without original sin, was chosen to be the Mother of God so that she might be made an associate in the Redemption of mankind.'" Pope Benedict XV also held that Mary "...herself may justly be said to have redeemed together with Christ the human race." Rather than go directly to the Lord Jesus, as the Roman Bible teaches, Roman Catholics are told to go to Mary, who will act as intercessor between them and the Lord Jesus Christ. From the Papal encyclical of 1897, we read the proclamation: "As no man goes to the Father except by the Son, so no man goes to the Son except by His Mother."

LOVE and FORGIVENESS

Not a few people, even many Christians, are under the impression that they have forgiven every sin and injustice done against them. However, the fundamental problem with their perceived forgiveness is they have conditioned their forgiveness upon their own standard, their own personal set of rules. The telling sign of a fake forgiveness is that it comes with strings attached. Their willingness to forgive only goes as far as, but never past, a certain point. Their version of forgiveness never goes beyond that certain point into the forbidden zone. Many a Christian's willingness to forgive never goes far enough, it never reaches the level to where their forgiveness matches the kind of forgiveness they have been forgiven with by God, and to which they are called by the Word of God. The message of the Scriptures for the believer is this: Love as you are loved. Forgive as you are forgiven. With forgiveness comes the responsibility to forgive. Being loved by God comes with an obligation to love and forgive your fellow man.

The grace of God and the mercy of God are life-changing, they are destiny-changing. Grace and mercy diametrically change a man's course of life from being on the broad way that leads to Hell, onto the narrow way that leads to Heaven. God changes things. Grace and mercy are words of hope, not of uncertain hope, not a hope based on what you do with them, not a flimsy, wishful thinking type hope, but a definite, reliable, trustworthy and promised hope. A covenant hope. A hope that can never disappoint. A hope that is sure and unwavering. A hope that is eternal. The Christian's hope is in the God of grace. The Christian's hope is not in the fact he has changed, but solely in the One Who has changed him. The Christian's hope is in God and His grace, and not at all in himself and any of his works. The Christian's hope is not in what he has done, but only in what God has done in him.

Jesus Christ is God is a treatise on the Deity of Jesus Christ, and the Trinity of God. Very few have a neutral response when they hear the name 'Jesus'. Billions upon billions have called on the name 'Jesus' for centuries, and yet few have ever known the true Person behind the name of the One Who would come and ..".save His people from their sins" (Matt. 1:21). Many seek solace and refuge in the name 'Jesus', but few there be who know the Person and Work of the Man behind the name. Many derive great comfort and assurance in their lives simply because they call the one whom they worship, 'Jesus', and yet they will one day realise that to know His name and yet not know the Person behind the name, is to not know Him at all.

I once asked a lady, who shared with me her firm and considered opinion that everything happens for a reason, and that there is, therefore, a purpose for everything, what such a belief might suggest to her. She stood, searching in vain for an answer, and eventually conceded saying she did not know. I informed her that if there is a reason and a purpose for everything would that not strongly suggest to her that there is someone behind the reason and the purpose. Would this not only prove that there is a God, that there is a Grand Design, and, therefore, a Great Designer Who is in complete and Sovereign control over everything and everyone?

The purpose of this book is to equip the new or prospective believer with the truth of God's Word, and the warnings which appear in Scripture of the many lies and fables that entrap people in a fantasy world of false gospels, false gods and false beliefs. We encourage people to judge according to God's Word. To believe the Gospel of God, and forever reject gospels which base salvation upon conditions which man must meet before he can be saved, or in order that he remain 'saved'.
Roman Catholicism the Pagan Connection
The world is convinced that Roman Catholicism is Christianity. Yet when one examines the Bible-even the Roman Catholic Bible-one soon discovers the obvious difference, and the many distinct contradictions that exist between Roman Catholicism and true Biblical Christianity. This difference reveals Roman Catholicism as nothing but old paganism clothed in a Christian veneer. This book will prove that Roman Catholicism has sustained the traditions, teachings, rites and practices of some of the darkest elements of satanically inspired paganism!
Salvation: by Rome or by Grace?

Salvation: by Rome or by Grace?

Salvation is the most vital issue in any person's life. What you believe about the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is the power of God unto salvation, will have eternal consequences. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that salvation is attainable by grace and good works; by obedience to the laws of God and to the laws of Roman Catholicism. Rome also teaches that there is no salvation outside of the Roman Catholic Church. Conversely, the Roman Catholic Bible states clearly that there is no salvation for those outside the Lord Jesus Christ, for those who do not abide in His Gospel. The Roman Catholic Church insists that, "If anyone shall say that justifying faith is nothing else than faith in the Divine compassion forgiving our sins for the sake of Christ, or that this faith alone is that by which we are justified, let him be anathema (accursed)."
THE Mass

THE Mass

Roman Catholicism teaches that, in the Mass, Jesus Christ repeatedly offers Himself for the salvation of the world. The Council of Trent has proclaimed this 'sacrifice' as "...identical with the sacrifice of the Cross, inasmuch as Jesus Christ is a priest and Victim both. The only difference lies in the manner of offering, which is bloody on the cross and bloodless on our altars." The Roman Catholic Catechism explains that the whole reason for attending Mass is "...to offer sacrifice to God." Cardinal Francis J. Spellman says: "The Sacrifice of the Mass forms a pivot on which all else turns. If it is what Catholics believe it is, then here is the greatest external manifestation of the love of God for man, and the most magnificent testimonial to the validity of Catholicism; but if it is false, it is the worst farce and blasphemy ever perpetrated upon God or man, and the catholic faith collapses into nothingness."
The Rosary

The Rosary

The Roman Catholic Church herself has acknowledged that the Rosary did not come into general use until the 13th century, and the practice was not officially sanctioned by the Roman Church until after the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century. Buddhists and Muslims had been using a device for counting prayers similar to the rosary centuries before the Rosary was introduced to Roman Catholics. According to unchallengeable historical fact, the rosary is a device which originated in Paganism, and is commonly found throughout the many and varied religions of the world. Clearly, the concept of prayer beads or prayer counters had been in use for centuries, long before the Roman Catholic Church decided to continue this popular pagan tradition, furnishing it with a Christian veneer. The Roman Catholic Church-approved Catholic Encyclopedia states: "In almost all countries, then, we meet with something in the nature of prayer counters or rosary-beads."
"I Never Knew You" "to Whom Belongs the Glory"
Most professing Christians believe that there are two kinds of people: the saved and the unsaved, or, the believer and the unbeliever. The Bible actually speaks of three types of people: the saved, made up of all true believers in God's one true Gospel; and those who are not saved, who do not believe the Gospel of Christ's Righteousness, this latter group is comprised of two sections, one of which is made up of those who ended their lives not believing in anything about God or Jesus Christ His Son, and the other, the third of our groups, or sub-group if you like, is made up of a multitude of religious people who were firmly convinced in their minds that they were Christians, that they did believe in God and yet the various gospels they held to were false gospels, evidencing the fact that they were all false Christians! So, we have those who believe, those who do not believe and those who believe they believe, but believe amiss!
'Christ Shall Profit You Nothing' & the Church of God
A false gospel is not to be judged so when its errors reach a certain point, but in the fact that it contains any error at all! Doctrinal error is indicative of a false gospel. One of the clearest examples of how little it takes to besmirch God's Gospel and change it into a lie is shown by Paul in his letter to the Galatians. "Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, CHRIST SHALL PROFIT YOU NOTHING" (Gal. 5:2)...If a person turns to, and relies upon, anything they have done in order to get saved and/or remain saved then Christ shall profit them nothing. Christ cannot be called on as Savior by these people for they do not fully trust in Him...those who claim that whatever it is they must do is only possible because of God's bestowing the grace which enables them to do it, are abiders in a false gospel, a gospel which is not about grace but may be rightly termed a gospel of DIS-GRACE!!
God's Good News & False Gospel / True Gospel
SALVATION! What is it? Many have heard the word but have never taken the time to find out what salvation is really all about. 'What is it to be saved, and what is it that one is saved from? And for that matter, how does one get saved and is salvation really necessary? Do I need it?' These questions are often the first to be asked when the issue of salvation is raised but seldom, if ever, do they receive answers that are compatible with what the Word of God says. Many people take the following approach to things 'religious': 'I believe that religion is ok for some people but personally I don't have a need for it. I don't see anything that wrong with my life...The True Christian Faith is not a religion, nor is it primarily a lifestyle...anybody can change their lifestyle, reform and become a 'new person' whether they get involved in religion or not. Christianity is all about a Message, God's Message - God's Gospel.
Another Jesus

Another Jesus

The apostle Paul spoke about another spirit in 2 Corinthians 11. He also warned of another gospel in which there is no salvation, and which those led by another spirit would believe and promote. Significantly, Paul also spoke about another jesus in the same passage (see 2 Cor. 11:4). This false god will not go by the name of Buddha or the like, but will bear the name 'Jesus' and, just to add to the confusion, will be attributed with some of the characteristics of the real Jesus. Yet this Jesus, in whom millions have placed their faith, is not the Jesus of the Bible to Whom God gives testimony and Whom His glorious Gospel reveals. Of all the false gods in this world, the ones which go by the name 'Jesus' are the most deceptive. The reason why vast numbers are so deceived is the fact that this false god goes by the name 'Jesus', and has many familiar truths about the real Jesus attributed to him. A false jesus is the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing.

"For the time is come that judgement must begin at the House of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the Gospel of God? And if the Righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" (1 Peter 4:17,18). Many view the word Gospel as an ambiguous term...these Scriptures not only refer to the judgement of the ungodly, they actually provide the reader with information as to exactly who the ungodly are, and that which qualifies a person as godly. What verse 17 reveals is rather confronting when one looks deeper into the significance of its words, for what these two Scriptures present is no less than an insight into the purpose of election, and the inextricable connection between the essentiality of believing the Gospel-a completely unambiguous term-and salvation. These verses reveal the conclusive and irrevocable evidence that only Gospel believers are Righteous in God's eyes, that it is only they who are of the House of God.
Appointed to Wrath - Appointed to Salvation
Appointed to Wrath - Appointed to Salvation: "For God hath not appointed us to Wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us..." (1 Thessalonians 5:9,10). For many people who consider themselves to be Christian the above Scriptures support the false teaching that no man is appointed to God's Wrath because Christ died for everyone. It is of the utmost importance that one realise just who the author of this Scripture is addressing and who he is not. Paul is here not addressing every individual ever born but as an outcome of this study it will become increasingly self-evident that his words are exclusively directed to Christians

"DOCTRINE!" It is one of the most despised words among many who consider themselves Christians. It is hated because it is considered to be that which divides Christians, causes strife and prevents unity among the brethren. "Doctrine divides," they say. 'We need unity' etc. This all sounds so nice and is readily accepted as the Christian thing to do, and that it pleases God so much to see people casting aside their differences, respecting each other's point of view and endeavouring to live in ecumenical bliss. Doctrine DOES divide; it does separate. It divides God's children from the children of wrath; it separates God's sheep from the cursed goats, and it differentiates between God's wheat, and the Devil's tares. It is by doctrine that one can know God-Who He is and what He has done. It is through doctrine that God reveals Himself.
Not Willing That Any Should Perish

Not Willing That Any Should Perish

One of the Scriptures most frequently used by those of the Arminian persuasion, when defending the unbiblical notion that Christ has died for every individual, and that He wants everyone saved and none to perish for all eternity, is found in 2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." At first glance, this verse does appear to be saying that God does not want anyone at all to go to hell, but that He wants everyone to come to repentance...The Arminian interpretation of this verse is a direct attack on the Sovereignty of God, that is, everything that happens God has willed to happen, and it always comes to pass (occurs) in every precise detail as He willed it. It also opposes such essential Gospel doctrines as election, and Christ's atonement, His death-what He did on the cross, and for whom He did it.
