Nancy Ndeke

This book is dedicated to, and inspired by, our good mutual friend, Lucille A. LaRoche. We have a fond nickname for her: Lucy By The Sea. Lucille resides in Maine along the seacoast and shares pictures and poems on social media in relation to her love of the ocean and nature. It seemed appropriate to Nancy Ndeke and I to do something like this for Lucille, who's always thinking of us and others and what she can do for all of us. So we thought, let's do something for HER. We hope that poems we have written and dedicated to Lucille and other momentos will have special meaning for her, for she is special every day that we know her and are blessed in her presence, even though all three of us are scattered over the globe and have never met. We consider ourselves Diamond Sisters, because a Diamond is the strongest, most unbreakable gem in the world and that's how we feel about our bond with Lucille. She's a true Gem of the Sea.
