This book traces changing attitudes towards secrecy in eighteenth-century France, and explores the cultural origins of ideas surrounding government transparency. The idea of keeping secrets, both on the part of individuals and on the part of governments, came to be viewed with more suspicion as the century progressed. By the eve of the French Revolution, writers voicing concerns about corruption saw secrecy as part and parcel of despotism, and this shift went hand in hand with the rise of the idea of transparency. The author argues that the emphasis placed on government transparency, especially the mania for transparency that dominated the French Revolution, resulted from the surprising connections and confluence of changing attitudes towards honour, religious movements, rising nationalism, literature, and police practices. Exploring religious ideas that associated secrecy with darkness and wickedness, and proto-nationalist discourse that equated foreignness with secrecy, this book demonstrates how cultural shifts in eighteenth-century France influenced its politics. Covering the period of intense fear during the French Revolution and the paranoia of the Reign of Terror, the book highlights the complex interplay of culture and politics and provides insights into our attitudes towards secrecy today.

Nach den Einblicken in die Grundstruktur interreligioser Prozesse in Band 2, widmet sich dieser Band den Zugangen zu und Dynamiken von Konflikten in interreligiosen Bildungsprozessen an der Grenze zwischen Schule und Universitat in empirischer Perspektive.

Dieses Buch behandelt geeignete Verfahren zur Aufnahme von anthropometrischen 3D-Messdaten, sowie eine prototypische Durchf hrung und Analyse von Messungen mit dem gew hlten Verfahren. In diesem Rahmen wurden zun chst die Anforderungen an das zu untersuchende Messverfahren definiert und potentielle Messunsicherheiten identifiziert und minimiert, um schlussendlich ein nahezu optimales Messergebnis erhalten zu k nnen. Diese Analyse wurde unter Zuhilfenahme eines "Ishikawa-Diagramms" durchgef hrt. Die Autorin hat neben technischen auch konomische Kriterien gewichtet und den "DAVID-Laserscanner" ausgew hlt. Im praktischen Teil des Buches werden die erforderlichen Komponenten, Software und Messablauf beschrieben. Zum Schluss sind die Ergebnisse und Erfahrungen bei der Durchf hrung des Scanvorgangs mit dem DAVID-Laserscanner aufgef hrt.

Erg nzungsbilanzen geh ren zu den Steuerbilanzen und dienen der laufenden Gewinnermittlung. Das Handelsrecht kennt keine Erg nzungsbilanzen. Erg nzungsbilanzen existieren nur bei Personenhandelsgesellschaften nicht bei Kapitalgesellschaften. Grund hierf r ist, dass KapG selbst das Subjekt der Besteuerungdarstellen. Dagegen m ssen bei einer PersG die einzelnen Gesell-schafter die Eink nfte der Steuer unterwerfen. Deshalb sind evtl. Erg nzungsbilanzen aufzustellen, um eine sachgerechte Versteuerung der von der PersG erzielten Eink nfte bei den Gesell-schaftern sicherzustellen. Die Ergebnisse der Erg nzungsbilanzen sind in voller H he dem betreffenden Gesellschafter zuzuordnen. Zusammen mit seinem anteiligen Ergebnis der StB der Gesellschafte bildet es seinen steuerlichen Gewinnanteil i.S.d. 15 Abs. 1. S. 1 Nr. 2 S. 1 EStG. Erg nzungsbilanzen sind strikt von Sonderbilanzen zu unter-scheiden. Sie weisen keine WG des Gesellschafter aus, sondern es erscheinen nur seine Mehr- oder Minderaufwendungen, die sich nicht in seinem in der Gesamthandsbilanz ausgewiesenen Kapital- konto niederschlagen.Strittig ist, ob Erg nzungsbilanzen lediglich rechnerische Korrekturposten zur Gesamthandsbilanz, Anteile an den WG des Gesellschaftsverm gens oder die Beteiligung an der PersG ausweisen. Nach st ndiger Rechtsprechung des Bundesfinanzhof erwirbt der K ufer des Mitunternehmeranteils, Anteile an den einzelnen zum GesVerm gen der PersG geh rende WG. Unstrittig ist, dass Erg nzungsbilanzen die Wertans tze der WG des GesVerm gens in der StB korrigieren, und sich der Buchwert eines WG aus dem Wert der StB zuz glich dem Wert aus derErg nzungsbilanz zusammensetzt, und dass das Kapitalkonto der Erg nzungsbilanz zum Kapitalkonto i.S.d. des 15a EStG eines Mitunternehmers z hlt.
