The grass is always greener? Maybe so...But is it really grass? And is it worth it to break the rules, give in to temptation, and find out that you really had the best life before you chased the "greener" marketing? This is an important set of lessons for all humans - especially your children.Murph's Turf is a funny, cool, and powerful story that teaches kids aged 4-12 about contentment, temptation, obedience, and trust in God.The Story: Murph is a kind, athletic, purple "sleep-sheep" who is loved by and cared for by his shepherd, Elvin O. Heen. Murph is totally happy and grateful to live amongst his sheep friends and to follow a good shepherd. He has EVERYTHING But one day, the sheeps' favorite plaything (a frisbee) flies over the huge black wall that separates their pasture from the next, and Murph decides that he should be the one to retrieve it. Murph had always been warned by his shepherd that none of the sheep should cross from their side of the wall to the other, but when a kind voice from the other side of the wall door invites him to come over, meet another flock, get his frisbee, and taste the greenest, green grass on earth, Murph considers it. Murph decides to trust the "kind voice" and opens the door to the other side. When he looks inside and sees happy "sheep" playing on the greenest grass, he gives into temptation, goes into the other pasture, and even tells all of his flock to join him. When Murph and all his friends are on the other side, standing there hypnotized by the super green grass, the "sheep" from the other side, shut the door and lock it. Then these "sheep" take off their sheep costumes revealing that they are really wolves. Before Murph and his friends notice the wolves closing in, they taste the greenest grass and they realize that it is not grass at all - It is Astro-Turf - plastic that has been painted green. Murph is mad that he has been lied to about the grass and angry at himself for not being happy with the Everything that his shepherd had provided for them. But, when he sees that the lying "sheep" are actually wolves who are about to eat him and his flock, he is terrified.Thankfully, the good shepherd bursts through the door and saves his flock. Murph apologizes to his shepherd for giving into the temptation, but is quickly forgiven and given a new frisbee. They all learn that just because "greener grass" is marketed, it is better to trust a shepherd who loves them rather than give into temptation that presses the buttons of their desires for MORE.Amazing illustrations Great Dr. Seuss-like rhyming Vital life lessons Parents, this is your next book buy Don't miss Snapp and Redden's newest book

Wrapper for President is an entertaining, fun, and engaging story with a purpose, written in a memorable Seuss-like rhyme. Perfect for children ages 4-12, Wrapper for President uses the adventures of a blue gift wrapping tube named June to encourage kids to dream big, set meaningful life goals, and achieve their goals no matter what history, culture, or detractors might say to discourage them. It also aims to teach kids (and parents) some new, challenging vocabulary...The story: June the Tube is a friendly and respected resident of the land of Giftagoo. She is looking for ways to make a bigger difference in her community and calls in her good friend and life coach, Clyde the Sloth, to help her dream louder. After careful consideration, June decides that she is going to run for President of Giftagoo so she can help those who are struggling and to make Giftagoo the best place to live. But when she excitedly tells her "friends" about her dream and her goals, they do not support her like she thought they would. In fact, all they do is tell her how she has no chance to become President of Giftagoo because of her limitations (finances, history, gender, etc.). But June doesn't let these realities and discouragements stop her from going after her big dream. And with Clyde alongside her, she runs a successful political campaign and becomes President of Giftagoo. As President, June, with the help of her Vice President Clyde, makes Giftagoo the best place to live and helps its people live their best lives. June is a reminder to all of us that we cannot let anything or anyone discourage us from chasing meaningful dreams.

Dean the Bean gets a Screen is an entertaining, fun, and engaging story with a purpose, written in a memorable Seuss-like rhyme. Perfect for children ages 4-10, this book offers an easy way for parents to introduce their kids to the vital issue of "screen addiction" through a likeable character named Dean the Bean. While written for kids, the book serves as a reminder to us all that we are human beings with lives worth living and opportunities to experience--not just "Do-Nothing Beans" addicted to our favorite virtual leash. The story: Dean is a cute, bored bean who wants excitement in his life. When he discovers the joys and encompassing fascination offered by various electronic platforms/screens (televisions, computers, cell phones, etc.), he forfeits his real life for life 'on the screen.' Dean soon gets addicted to his screens and his real life suffers. At last he realizes that his virtual-world has lost its color, but he finds his way back to the beauty of real-life when he steps away from his screens and their 'make-pretend existence.' Dean encourages us all to put our screens in 'time-out' from time-to-time so we can experience the joys that await us when we unplug from their influence. Screens are fun and useful, but they can take over our lives if we're not careful. Dean the Bean is like The Social Dilemma for kids-it sounds the warning in a hilarious format that children can understand.
