Song of Gaea is a soothing, rhythmically rocking, lyrical picture book. Song of Gaea is a mystical paean to the Spirit in Nature with an uplifting message: a loving call for humanity to live in balance with the Earth. Song of Gaea presents cosmology and evolutionary ecology in a mythic framework and offers a sustainable vision of the future. Song of Gaea comprises 26 stanzas of four lines each. These would be printed on the right (odd) pages, with accompanying full-page color illustrations on the facing left (even) pages. The format would be 81/2" x 11" horizontal. At the back of the book would be a bit of technical information and time-line diagrams for parents to address scientific questions and concerns. The purpose of storytelling is to offer a sensibility of feeling-based knowledge in order that over the course of child development, the senses of morality and justice may take root in the rich soil of youth. This story will reach those seekers. Those who reach for the new relevance of Mother Earth are found in many walks of life. Parents of Pagan orientation and heritage, the fast growing "New Age" spiritual movement, as well as parents of many different faiths and parents in the Waldorf movement will buy this book because it is not a typical "save the Earth" polemic tirade, but a lyrical story of belonging. Song of Gaea is geared towards children in just the age ranges of my sons: three to eight. Rich and wholesome illustrations capture my young son's attention, along with the rising and falling lilt of poetry, while my elder son delights as well in the details of both the pictures and the scientific information. Song of Gaea makes for a perfect bedtime story, in no small part for the soothing strength of the message: that we are held in the great being of this planet, a part of all nature around us, with an inherent purpose and a destiny to unfold. There is a grand Mystery to the universe, and we have our place within it.

These are accounts from the journeys of former Christians-including some Clergy-who left the churches they grew upin and came over to Paganism and the Goddess. Why? The idea and title for this anthology was conceived in a hot tub over 20 years ago, after an interfaith conference, where several of us Pagans were sharing our stories of how we found (or were found by...) the Goddess...and could never go back. Thirty deeply personal-and often heart-rending-accounts are bracketed by introductory material and Appendices to provide background, history and context for the emergence of an alternative religious paradigm that is now one of theworld's fastest-growing faith categories... Oberon Zell is a renowned Elder in the global magickal community. In 1967 he was the first to claim the identity of "Pagan." Incorporating the first Pagan Church of All Worlds, and publishing Green Egg magazine since 1968, Oberon has been instrumental in the coalescence of the modern Pagan movement. He is also Founder and Headmaster of the online Grey School of Wizardry. Phaedra Bonewits has been a practicing psychic and Witch for more than forty years, teaching and leading rituals from coast to coast. Her articles have appeared in many periodicals and with her late husband she co-authored Real Energy: Systems, Spirits, and Substances to Heal, Change, and Grow (New Page, 2007). She hasalso been the editor behind the curtain for other Pagan books.

What happens to our soul/spirit consciousness after we die? Is our essential awareness just extinguished like a snuffed candle, or does it continue on in some invisible and ineffable realm beyond our mortal ken? This has been throughout the entire span of human existence the greatest of all Mysteries. This book begins with death, and continues with the journey the soul may take afterwards to arrive at the Blessed Realm and eventually, perhaps, to return in a new incarnation. The book includes illustrated descriptions and visions of the Netherworlds of various cultures. All of us who are alive today will someday face the final passage into "That Undiscover'd Country." This book is a guide for that inevitable journey. Oberon Zell is a renowned Elder in the global magickal community. In 1967 he was first to claim the identity of "Pagan."
