Musings is a compilation of poems written to motivate its readers and inspire them on to making their families and the world around them better, written by a father and grandfather encouraging a higher standard of thinking to his loved ones and fellow parents by sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience from the pen to the smartphone.

"Mack" Mckenzie was a well-respected, successful Christian director of the choir. Everything was perfect in his middle-class Bahamian life. Then he fell in love with the alto, Sarah Benjamin, and his life began to fall apart.

The Bahamas is a chain of coral islands stretching from just off Florida to just off Hispanola. Today, its small communities are held together by modern technology, but there was a time when the seperation made it difficult to maintain the kind of close communication necessary for the building of a nation. It was the Community Announcements, a kind of radio bulletin board timed to coincide with morning and evening meals, that kept Bahamians on the path to nationhood. This collection of stories remembers those days, as they share the island lifestyle of the nation of 700 islands.
