Russian edition of Laszlo Gyurko's "1956" white book (1987), an hour-by-hour chronicle of the Hungarian Uprising of October-November 1956 against the Communist regime and its Soviet-imposed policies. On 4 November, a large Soviet force invaded Budapest and other regions of the country. The Hungarian resistance continued until 10 November.
