This is a fascinating account of the revelations of Our Lady to three children at Fatima. The book describes the Miracle of the Sun on 13th October 1917 which was witnessed by 70,000 people, and it covers the three secrets given, with all the events set in the context of world history. Mary asked for the consecration of Russia, and for the First Five Saturdays devotion to ensure peace, saying that if her requests were not met, then the world would suffer a war worse than World War I. She said that 'a night illumined by an unknown light' would be the sign that this war was imminent, and this spectacle was witnessed on 25th January 1938, just six weeks before Hitler annexed Austria. The book covers the assassination attempt on John Paul II, the release of the third secret 83 years after it had been revealed, and the road to sainthood of the seers. The message of Fatima was not just for 1917, and the book shows just how relevant it is in our time.

Bernadette, a poor uneducated girl from Lourdes, claimed to have seen apparitions of a lady at a rock face in 1858. On 25th February, she said that the lady had asked her to scratch at the ground, and soon a spring appeared there, and within days there were reports of miraculous healings at the grotto. After a lengthy investigation, the Church pronounced that the faithful were justified in believing that Our Lady had appeared 18 times at Lourdes. The medical team that investigated the cures stated that the phenomena they'd observed were `beyond the comprehension of the human mind' and when Bernadette's remains were exhumed 46 years after her death, her body was still undecayed, prompting the physician to declare that this was not a natural phenomenon. To date, 70 miracles have been verified and over 200 million people have visited the site since the Apparitions of 1858. This book describes the life of Bernadette and her road to sainthood, as well as Our Lady's message to the world, and to us as individuals.

Evil will indeed flourish when good men remain silent, and yet sometimes all that it takes to bring dark practices to light is for a single man to speak out.' This book tells the story of John Anderson, an unassuming and decent living 85 year old retired school teacher who lives outside London. Depressed by years of living in a toxic social environment and under a government whose policies are openly hostile to the elderly, he finally decides to die by euthanasia. Euthanasia clinics claim to offer the sick and elderly a dignified death, free from pain at a time and place of their choosing. But John discovers that beneath the calm and rosy veneer of the clinics there lies a living hell, which he is determined to expose. The scenario portrayed here is surely just a page in mankind s history book away from reality!

This book sets out to scientifically prove the resurrection of Jesus. Six pieces of evidence are investigated, which when pieced together prove his divinity beyond any doubt. One of these is the three hour period of darkness and the earthquake on the day of the crucifixion and both these events were described by historians from antiquity such as Phlegon and Tertullian and there's also firm geological evidence for this earthquake. The book shows that the probability of these two events happening on that specific day were 1 in 4.7 billion and that the darkness could not have been caused by either a solar or a lunar eclipse. Whether you're a Christian looking to enrich your faith or a non-believer with an open mind, you should find this book fascinating.

Murphy's Law states that 'anything that can go wrong will go wrong' and this book is a collection of 59 short stories about pest control treatments that didn't work out as planned! They include the story of a cursed ship that we had to fumigate and what happened on the day that Nelson Mandela came to our town after his release from prison. Also, the tale of a Piper Cherokee plane that lost a wheel after striking a termite mound, that we later had to fly home in! Then there's the treatment of a famous conference centre that went horribly wrong just before the Queen and Commonwealth heads of state arrived and the story of a cheetah pinning one of my servicemen to the ground during a service. Most of the stories are highly amusing, but a few are sad and the rest are simply fascinating to read. Anyway, have a few laughs, shed the odd tear and enjoy the book!

It documents the greatest miracle of modern history, the Miracle of the Sun on 13th October 1917 which was witnessed by 70,000 people. It covers the three secrets given and the handling by the Church and all the events are set in the context of World history. Our Lady cautioned that if her requests were not met then the World would suffer a war more terrible than World War I. She said that the sign that this war was imminent would be a night illumined by an unknown light and this miracle happened on 25th January 1938, just 6 weeks before Hitler annexed Austria. The book covers the assassination attempt on John Paul II and how he was convinced that Our Lady had intervened to save him, which prompted him to finally release the text of the 3rd secret, 83 years after it had been given to Lucia dos Santos. The book shows that the message of Fatima was not just for 1917, but that it's a very real warning for us today.
