Quazi Johirul Islam

This is one of the most powerful Haiku books written in modern age. In this book poet created very powerful imageries in three lines short poems. End rhyming between the 1st and the 3rd lines, 5/7/5 syllables form, all have come naturally. In Bengali literature Quazi is very powerful poet. Nature, spirit and body all three have come to a horizontal line in this book. Worth reading. Quazi was born on 10 February 1968 in Bangladesh. He has 63 books published and awarded many times in country and abroad. His writings were translated in English, Albanian, Odia languages and published globally. All Haikus of this book are illustrated by the famous painter Syed Iqbal. Both the poems and illustrations complemented each other and brought completeness to the readers.

Alam Siddique introduced Namkabbo in Bangla Literature. It is not exactly the Clerihew, where people were pictured humorously, rather Alam avoided people and identified the characteristics of anything, fruits, animals, birds, anything, in just 8 lines. Alam is a Bengali poet born in 1981 at Gaibandha district of Bangladesh. He earned masters degree of Political Science from the National University of Bangladesh. So far 9 books published.
