Jan Morrow is a little quirky and a little ditzy. We all have those "DUH" moments when we do something stupid that makes us shake our heads in bewilderment, but Jan has super-quirk. She also has a very special gift. It allows her to be places she shouldn't be and to see things she shouldn't see. People don't think to look UP when looking for someone. She sees a rapist committing a brutal murder. This maniac has raped and killed too many women and young girls. If she can save even one life, she will do all she can. Her gift will guide her. Her married lover will help her.

Depression with suicidal ideation is like finding yourself swimming way out in the ocean, struggling to stay afloat while everything is working against you. The waves are huge, the tides are shifting, the temperature is near freezing, the current is pulling you farther away from land, there are predators lurking below. You look up, to see a gigantic ship sailing by, but you're too weak to wave. There are people up there leaning over the railing. They're looking down. They see you They know you're in trouble and you breathe a sigh of relief, you fully expect somebody to come to the rescue, but nobody does. They toss out a life preserver instead. You're swallowing water. You're going under Gasping for air, you desperately reach out for the life preserver, but it's so far away You see it floating nearby, but it's just out of reach. You're exhausted. You're drowning You can't take anymore. You can't hold on any longer You finally give up and begin to sink into the watery depths. Just as the seaweed encloses itself around your body and there's no more oxygen in your lungs it dawns on you that nobody can jump in because they run the risk of drowning too. In one last show of strength you block out the pain and the exhaustion, and you lunge back toward the surface You put one arm in front of the other and you keep swimming toward that life preserver. Once you finally reach it, you cling to it and hold on for dear life. Cheering, the people on board pull you to the side of the ship. You look up at that great expanse of iron and steel and you realize that you still have to climb that formidable ladder. But you're there You're safe You can do it You finally know that you can get through this horrible illness and that it has to be you that climbs up the ladder. All proceeds will be given to Tammy's family or donated to their favorite charity. Note: This 2nd Edition contains the same material as the 1st Edition. The cover was changed to meet specific guidelines for promotional purposes.

All four cover images are in this edition. In the late 19th century, pin-up girls became the norm in advertising. These burlesque girls and women became sex symbols and quickly appeared in modern men's magazines all over the world. They entertained soldiers in World War 1 and 2. The magazines found their way under beds and stashed in closets and cubby holes of countless men and women. The feminism movement claimed they destroyed women's morality. The Gibson Girls, Vargas Girls, Petty Girls and countless others were seen by men as being an inspiration. Well known artists such as Earle K. Bergey, Enoch Bolles, Gil Elvgren, George Petty, Rolf Armstrong, Duane Bryers, Peter Driben, Olivia De Beradinis and Art Frahm to mention a few were made famous with their art and talent. Today, these images and magazine covers are just as inspiring. While our world has grown in so many ways sexually, these girls are forever ageless, classy, beautiful, clean, healthy and wholesome.

Volume 2 of this 5 part series features Romance. Ahh, our parents and grandparents, maybe even great grandparents fell in love by this music. They danced and had stars in their eyes. Many of these songs were published by Jerome H. Remick by a large variety of composer's. This coloring book has 40 coloring pages. For the original full color versions of these covers, check out the companion coffee table book with same title. The late 1800's and early 1900's gave us a plethora of amazingly talented composer's, musicians, vocalists and artists. This series of Sheet Music Covers are only a small representation of the thousands of compositions that were published during that time. Our country was in the midst of World War 1 and was recouping from the Civil War. Women could not yet vote. Black Americans were still suppressed and mistreated. The country was experiencing The Great Depression and the world was headed toward World War 2. Still, there was hope, there was music, there was light and movement and creativity. This whole series is done to honor all those who suffered. To rejoice in the stamina as a nation. To thank them and to remember them. For the coloring pages I have tried to lighten as many images as I could without loosing the integrity of the cover. In some cases, that is an almost impossible task, Also, I have tried to keep the coloring books at a size that will allow you to flatten them for coloring. Along with the coloring books I am publishing the full color sheet music covers in companion coffee table editions. For the full color editions I have tried to keep the cost down as much as possible as it is fairly expensive for all concerned. Some of these covers were only published in black and white which works great for the coloring books but not so well for the color versions. I have included them because they are classic and beautiful. In this series there are opera's, ballets, waltzes, rags, two steps, polka's, marches, tango's, coon songs, wigglin' songs, musical comedies and more. They come from the U.S., Canada, Australia, Italy, France, Costa Rica, Austria, Germany, Russia, Great Britain, Poland, Switzerland, Scotland and more. Composer's include Vivaldi, Charles Chaplin (The great Charlie Chaplin's father), Stephen Foster, Scott Joplin, Emile Andre, Delormel, Planquette, Lautrec, Wagner, Schumann, Verdi, Courtois, Perry, Hitz, Strauss, Dietrich, Fisher, Kern, Gottschalk, Krakauer, Hammerstein, Seabrook, Ravel, Edwards, Leroux, Chopin, Turpin and so, so many more. The coloring pages are 8.5" x 11", one sided and have a nice black border to allow coloring all the way to the edge of the page. All four cover images are in this edition. This book is suitable for intermediate colorists. Please note: some of these songs fit more than one category, for instance: Treemonisha by Scott Joplin fit the opera category as well as the Black Americana category. I didn't want to leave anything out so there are a slight few instances when one title will be in more than 1 volume.
