Hypercalcemia has been reported upto 4.2% to 25% of patients who have malignancy related to head and neck cancer. Hypercalcemia is most common who have late stage malignancies which predicts poor prognosis and primary hyperparathyroidism or granulomatous diseases serve as an additional etiology for hypercalcemia.Hypercalcemia is also associated with soft tissue calcification, tubulointerstitia nephropathy, anorexia, nausea and a spectrum of changes from headache to coma.
