Classical Mechanics, a branch of physics that addresses the motion of macroscopic objects, is founded upon fundamental principles that govern the behavior of physical bodies. Central to this are Newton's three laws of motion. The first law, or the law of inertia, posits that an object will remain in a state of rest or uniform motion unless acted upon by an external force. The second law provides a mathematical description of how the velocity of an object changes when it is subjected to an external force, and is often expressed as F=ma, where F is the total force, m is the object's mass, and a is its acceleration. The third law, the principle of action and reaction, asserts that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. These laws have been instrumental in the development of various disciplines such as engineering and astronomy and remain applicable to most physical systems, except when dealing with phenomena at extremely small scales or relativistic speeds. The Fundamentals of Motion: Introduction to Classical Mechanics is an essential textbook that provides a thorough examination of the principles underlying the motion of macroscopic objects. Designed for students, educators, and professionals in physics and engineering, this book delves into the core concepts of Classical Mechanics, including Newton's laws of motion, conservation of momentum and energy, dynamics, kinematics, and rotational motion. It offers a systematic approach to understanding fundamental theories and mathematical formulations, coupled with illustrative examples and practical exercises. This textbook also incorporates discussions on the historical development and philosophical aspects of Classical Mechanics, the limitations of the classical view in the face of relativistic and quantum phenomena, and emerging connections to other areas of physics. With its methodical exposition and clear insights, Fundamentals of Motion: Introduction to Classical Mechanics serves as an indispensable guide for those seeking to understand the intricate workings of physical laws that govern our world, equipping readers with the knowledge and tools to explore the underlying nature of motion and mechanics.

Applications of Nanowires in Electronics
One-dimensional semiconducting materials are expected to produce highly-efficient electronic components due to their extraordinary characteristics in applications like nanoscale electronics, biology, optoelectronics, and energy storage. Moreover, complex semiconducting materials have also been developed from nanowires using epitaxial growth mechanisms. The current application areas of nanowires include high-speed transistors, nanoelectronics, chemical- and biosensors, and LEDs (light-emitting diodes) with little power consumption. Concerns for the synthesis of these devices include inferior mobility and optical characteristics of nanomaterials materials. This book offers a thorough understanding of recent developments in synthesizing nanowires for constructing various types of electronic components. Especially, the book reviews the uses of nanowires in sensors, detectors, energy storage, circuits, and energy conversion, etc. Growth approaches of various types of nanowires are also discoursed along with the discussion of their electronic applications. Therefore, this book can be used as a ready reference by researchers, students, and teachers in the field of nanotechnology and electronics.

Existing robotics technology is still mostly limited to being used by expert programmers who can adapt the systems to new required conditions, but not flexible and adaptable by non-expert workers or end-users. Imitation Learning (IL) has obtained considerable attention as a potential direction for enabling all kinds of users to easily program the behavior of robots or virtual agents. Interactive Imitation Learning (IIL) is a branch of Imitation Learning (IL) where human feedback is provided intermittently during robot execution allowing an online improvement of the robot’s behavior. In this monograph, research in IIL is presented and low entry barriers for new practitioners are facilitated by providing a survey of the field that unifies and structures it. In addition, awareness of its potential is raised, what has been accomplished and what are still open research questions being covered.Highlighted are the most relevant works in IIL in terms of human-robot interaction (i.e., types of feedback), interfaces (i.e., means of providing feedback), learning (i.e., models learned from feedback and function approximators), user experience (i.e., human perception about the learning process), applications, and benchmarks. Furthermore, similarities and differences between IIL and Reinforcement Learning (RL) are analyzed, providing a discussion on how the concepts offline, online, off-policy and on-policy learning should be transferred to IIL from the RL literature.Particular focus is given to robotic applications in the real world and their implications are discussed, and limitations and promising future areas of research are provided.

Global Energy requirement is increasing day by day and ways to combat this increasing energy demand and global warming are the need of present era. India being one of the large agricultures' nations, there are many different products being produced each year. The farmer's suicide is increasing day by day. The reason is in front of us i.e., these agricultural products are not getting proper market value. Lack of cold storage facilities is one of the big reasons of the problem stated above. Many research works are undergoing in different area for improvement in efficiency. This research if implemented practically can help in decreasing the operating cost of cold storage facilities. Reduction in the operating cost can reduce the price of storage in cold storage facility thus more and more people will be able to use and preserve their products. This can help farmers to get proper price for the product they produced. Also, the food product availability in the market can be increased. Efficient design of cold storage system will decrease the cooling load means the load demand of refrigeration system will be reduced.
