Uber die Entwicklung von Kindern im Schulalter ist wenig Gesichertes bekannt. In diesem Bericht wird ein theoretisch fundiertes Forschungsprogramm vorgestellt, das die schulspezifische Personlichkeits- entwicklung von der 5. bis zur 10. Klassenstufe analysiert. Dies ge- schieht anhand empirischer Quer- und Langsschnitterhebungen, die schulische Entwicklung auf dem Hintergrund von personinternen Bedingungen und Umwelteinflussen in Schule und Familie untersuchen. Als Basis dienen Theorieentwicklungen, die u.a. auf kognitions- und motivationspsychologischen Analysen fussen und allgemeinpsycho- logische mit umwelt- und personlichkeitspsychologischen Perspektiven zu verklammern suchen. Abschliessend werden erste querschnittlich-empirische Ergebnisse dargestellt."
