When I was a child, my father got sick with cancer, and he had a hard time, and eventually, he was called by God, and I missed him. That was many years ago, and I wished that I could have done more for him. I did not understand, but I wanted to, and it was impossible to know what to do to help others. I tried to comprehend but could not find answers. The wanting to understand has influenced my life. The one thing that I remembered so firmly was the importance of kindness.

It seems like all new energy practitioners and healers and mediums are somewhat concerned with their ability to connect spiritually. Inner city teachers can have their hands full, and part of that may be because of a reality void between television and the real world. There may be a tendency for safe and secure television viewers to expect that the real world is exciting and has no consequences. Prisoners may have a different view and may wish to do something positive with the time they have on their sentences. Segmentation may allow prisoners to write about their adventures so they can share their experience and their recommendations. It would be ideal if there was a program developed in segmentation that could allow that to happen through e-mail, phone, or video chats. Ministry of all kinds can be harder work than it needs to be when a leader is not aware of all the struggles of the followers. Asking for congregation members to self-identify and individually seek support for their needs may not always be fruitful. Invitations to discussions allow an opportunity for the flock to understand the components of a topic while being unidentified. It can help them to take in the perspectives of others that can help the listener see and understand the bigger picture of an issue. Engaging with others can remedy any feelings of uniqueness and isolation and pave the way for support. Then, Discernment can be a pivotal option.

Out of the Sixty books that I have written about prison, more than half have been concept books which have ideas that could be implemented over time in an efficient way. In the process of writing these books, I became more and more aware of the complexity of writing about prison programs. There are a lot of prisons, and each facility has different prisoner needs.
