Science meets the supernatural in award winning cartoonist Richard Marazano's graphic novel, when the eccentricities of infamous engineer and inventor, Nikola Tesla, are warped into a terrifying mystery during World War Two. Amidst the chaos of World War Two, New York is a city of mistrust and melancholy. Rumors abound of German submarines landing on the east coast, mysterious appearances - and disappearances - on the banks of the East River, Thomas Edison's laboratories under supervision of the FBI, experiments of terrible secret weapons by the Japanese forces in the Pacific... Yet Nikola Tesla, probably the only scientist whose originality and brilliant inventions are likely to provide a solution to the destructive war, is nowhere to be found! One summer in 1942, young Travis moves with his mother to a furnished hotel in Manhattan. Little does he know that his enigmatic neighbor will take him on an adventure with terrible and shocking scientific ramifications...
The mission to break the siege of Tel Aviv ended in disaster - two dead, and the rest of the team captured. But as the prisoners await their fate, they're suddenly confronted to the terrible reality of their world - most notably the fact that they don't seem to be fighting for the side of angels. Will they be able to adapt to this new truth and make the right choices - assuming there are still right choices?
As far his men are concerned, Vivian is fully recovered from his accident and long coma. An opinion that is not fully shared by Rachel, the team's new psychologist... and Vivian's ex-girlfriend! Personal entanglements aside, the team leader does still have those disturbing apocalyptic dreams - and then there's that 'Blue Parrot' sign that seems to haunt him. A new mission to the Middle East might bring some answers at last... but will they be welcome? Ages 12+
In a not-so-distant future, mankind's greed and short-sightedness have exhausted the planet. The vast majority of the population lives in misery among the ruins of civilisation, while a small, privileged minority continues to enjoy a luxurious existence inside a few fortress-cities scattered around the globe, the Enclaves. Vivian is a member of the elite forces that protect this utopia - but also regularly hunt down and capture people from outside the walls to use as cheap, forced labour...

Tutu is trapped in a valley of eternal winter, populated by talking animals and ruled by an oil-sputtering robot Emperor. She's sick of doing the Emperor's bidding, toiling in a factory that only hurts the valley with its pollution. Does the mysterious butterfly that follows her in dreams and waking life, the one that everyone is desperate to get their hands on, hold the key to the valley's future? If she can band together with a talking cat, rabbit spies, and a masked daredevil known as the Flying Bandit, her dreams could have the power to shape the world!
Blown from her home by a great blizzard, Tutu finds herself in a strange village of talking animals, where winter is eternal and the rabbits of the secret police find her guilty of one of the worst crimes imaginable—being a little girl! The Emperor of this strange town holds the key to her redemption, but it will come at a price. Nominated for the Angoulême Festival Youth Prize!
The land under the lake really has turned upside down! Milo is summoned back to the strange, magical land (introduced in the first volume) by the Sorcerer, Valia's father, who was not only his enemy, but supposedly! But the Sorcerer is very much alive, and he needs Milo's help... It seems the village Milo befriended is in dire straights: the goldfish is very sick, the children have all been captured by giant spiders, and Valia has gone missing, all victims of the mysterious Black Queen. And apparently, Milo is the only one left who can find them and stop the Queen from wreaking further havok. His journey, however, uncovers a string of startling surprises... A beautifully illustrated, family-friendly, magical adventure in the vein of AMULET, THE WIZARD OF OZ, etc. The second of three self-contained story volumes.
Milo leads a lonely childhood marked by the absence of his mother, about whom he knows next to nothing. His father has gone to work in the city, leaving him in the care of his three elderly aunts, who give him his freedom to distract himself by the lake where he lives. In this lake, Milo discovers a fish egg of unusual size, and when it hatches, a magnificent golden fish is born. Milo is only half surprised when strange creatures, including a toad man, become interested in his secret discovery. He soon meets and frees a fiery young girl named Valia, who was held prisoner by the toad man, and the two are forced to flee, guided by the golden fish, to “the other side” of the lake . . . the flip side underneath, one of many parallel worlds that are connected through the lakes, rivers, and oceans. In this parallel universe, an evil wizard wields power, driven by blind vengeance, with the toad man does his bidding. Milo finds himself the subject of fascination, fear, and excitement by the elf-like population, who aren’t sure what to do with him, until he sets out on an adventure to protect them from the evil wizard. Along the way, he finally encounters his mother, who turns out to be a sorceress from this world, and the polar opposite power of the evil wizard. He’s the lost scion of a new generation and wizards, and he never knew it (even though his three aunts and the golden fish did). Milo is the key in this battle; if the wizard manages to capture him, there will be no more opponents in the world on this side of the lake, meaning he could extend his domination and carry it even further, leading the conquest of the multiple parallel universes . . . A beautifully illustrated, family-friendly, magical adventure in the vein of Amulet and The Wizard of Oz.The first of three self-contained story volumes.
Genetiks is a pharmaceutical company on the cutting-edge of biological science. Thomas Hale is one of thousands of employees in the Genetiks' labs. Like his colleagues, he had agreed to give a drop of blood to his employers; a drop of blood that will allow the researchers at the company he works for to decode his entire genome. As the drop of blood is the property of Genetiks, Thomas will become, in effect, the first man to be privately owned by the corporation he works for.
