Vincent and Victoria are vines climbing different sides of an abandoned cottage in the woods. One is on the sunny side, the other in the shadows. Together they learn that their goal is the same and they help each other achieve that goal, which is to climb on to the roof and head to the top, while following the sun. This is a picture book that stresses the positive goal of cooperation and friendship.
Ben has a very messy room. What will take to get him to clean it up?
When Robbie and Belle's parents go out for the evening they enlist the grandparents for babysitting duty. What looks like a long boring night turns into anything but. The kids learn a lot about their grandparents that they couldn't possibly imagine. It will be a night they will never forget. A night filled with adventure.
This is a picture book intended for 2-7 yr. olds to be read by a parent or guardian to the child. It revolves around the search for the tickle monster who is prowling about. Just where is he? Many locations are explored without finding him until you reach the final page.
Willie is standing on the beach and looks up. He sees a message in the sky and rides his bike home. Later that night he is visited by an unknown force in the form of a mist or cloud. It invites him on a journey of discovery. Throughout the summer the clouds return many times in different forms and Willie accepts their invitation to explore. Maybe we are not alone. Maybe there has been an intelligent life form here since the beginning. Could it have wisdom that it wishes to share? Can we learn from it?
Boo is the story of a young girl's trip to the dentist on Halloween. She has a very active imagination that is fueled by each step of the visit from pulling up in front of the dental office to meeting the receptionist to meeting the hygienist, etc. The illustrations go back and forth from what she imagines to what is real. The receptionist is a goblin until she isn't. The hygienist is a witch until we meet her. The dentist is a vampire--but no. The empty couch in the waiting room is a time machine operated by gargoyles. The chair in the corner is obviously a Venus flytrap chair. However, it is true that looks can be deceiving. Find out for yourself if Katy's imagination is on to something.
