This book is about how the New Hampshire Legislature and the State Representatives and Senators who unselfishly give their time to serve the citizens of New Hampshire in the House of Representatives and the Senate. Whether they be Republican, Democrat, or Independent Legislators, this This is war, a bloodless one, but a war just the same. Out of that war, with its many heated exchanges and begrudging compromises, emerges a system of checks and balances which make the citizens of New Hampshire the ultimate winners. This they do for the paltry sum of $100 per year, and without benefit of healthcare or retirement.

This book is dedicated to the "Greatest Generation." Those individuals who came of age after WWI, enduring the stock market crash of 1929 which wiped out millions of dollars of their savings, as well as a collapsing economy which led to the Great Depression and massive unemployment. Despite those hardships, these individuals stood tall, rallying to their country's call both at home and on foreign soil. They took up arms in defense of democracy and beat back tyranny. Today, because of their sacrifices and courage they have become known as the Greatest Generation. This book is about that generation's sacrifices in defense of our democracy as seen through the eyes of eighteen-year-old Robert Philip Kingsbury, a World War II rifleman in General Patton's army, who was literally at the tip of the spear in that fight for democracy.

This book traces the Mead family's heritage back nearly 1200 years to the 862 settling in Neustria (Normandy) by the Vikings. The Meads' history is traced back 842 years to Normandy, the Chaneys' 1100 years also to Normandy, the Whiteheads' 500 years to England, and the McKernans' 200 years to Ireland.

Beyond Devil's Garden is the second in a series of autobiographical stories of this young boy as he comes to manhood, continually chasing varying adventures. It is full of stories of an array of interesting characters that are met, high-tech companies, sports cars, cowboy bars, stagecoach adventures, sailing, and careers, over the next thirty years of his life.
