Sie stehen im Kontext des babylonischen Exils. Diese Periode ist eine Zeit der Entwurzelung f r die Verbannten Israels, denn die Exilerfahrung f hrt das Volk zu einem neuen Anfang. Die Vernichtung des Tempels und Jerusalems, der Untergang aller politischen und religi sen Institutionen und die Deportation der oberen Klasse sind, sowohl eine soziale und politische Katastrophe, als auch eine Glaubenskrise. Das Volk hat viele Schwierigkeiten bei der Glaubensweitergabe. Ihm ist nicht ganz bewusst, dass sie Gottes erw hltes Volk sind. Das Volk tr gt sein Schicksal mit Ergebenheit, aber gleichzeitig lebt es in einer tiefen Depression.
