Trotz der Fortschritte bei den Bestrahlungstechniken ist dieses Verfahren h ufig mit einer Vielzahl oraler Komplikationen verbunden, wie Strahlenkaries, Geschmacksverlust, Xerostomie, Erythem, Mukositis, Trismus und Osteoradionekrose, die die Lebensqualit t der Patienten erheblich beeintr chtigen. berempfindlichkeit der Z hne, Geschmacksverlust, orale bakterielle Verschiebung und parodontaler Zusammenbruch sind weitere Probleme, die bei der Behandlung von Patienten, die sich einer Strahlentherapie unterziehen, zu beachten sind.
