L'am nagement urbain s'int resse la disposition, l'apparence et la fonction de nos banlieues, de nos villes et de nos cit s. Il s'agit la fois d'un processus et d'un r sultat de la cr ation de lieux o les gens vivent, interagissent les uns avec les autres et s'engagent visuellement et pratiquement dans l'espace physique qui les entoure. L'urbanisme est une science interdisciplinaire qui englobe de nombreuses disciplines diff rentes, notamment la planification, le d veloppement, l'architecture, l'architecture paysag re, l'ing nierie, l' conomie, le droit et la finance, ainsi que des enseignements tir s de la sociologie, de l'anthropologie, de l' tude des paysages culturels, de la psychologie environnementale, de la g ographie humaine et de l' tude de la sant . L'am nagement urbain op re diff rentes chelles, de la macro-structure urbaine (planification, zonage, transport et r seaux d'infrastructures) la micro-structure du mobilier urbain et de l' clairage. Lorsqu'il est pleinement int gr dans les syst mes de politique et de planification, l'am nagement urbain peut tre utilis pour informer les plans d'occupation des sols.

Aus diesem Grund gilt er als multidisziplin rer oder transdisziplin rer Beruf, der mit anderen Berufen und Wissenschaften wie Soziologie, Geografie, Wirtschaft, Architektur und anderen in Verbindung steht. Ein Master-Abschluss in Stadtplanung ist ein Studiengang, in dem die Absolventen dieses Fachgebiets die erforderlichen Kenntnisse erwerben k nnen, um die vom Land ben tigten Stadtentwicklungspl ne zu erstellen und ein geeignetes Bindeglied zwischen anderen Stadtentwicklungsprogrammen zu sein sowie eine nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung auf der Grundlage genehmigter Politiken und Pl ne zu beaufsichtigen und zu berwachen.
