As Mara continue to grow, she found people aiding their endeavors. People from the book have to have surgical assistance due to injury. One person departs the family. Soon Mara hired a chef, a housekeeper, a foreman, and his wife, Mary. Instead of just racing stock, they now have miniature horses as well. The miniatures came from a hole in the ground. The staff is growing; the family is growing, and the adventures continue. Mara has another challenge that requires purchasing empty land and relocating foreign ranches. Treasures might appear if one knows the proper combinations. Mara continue to grow with wisdom and knowledge. Her new skills kept haste. She found herself welcoming people that no one else seems to want. Usually, they were people who raised themselves and wanted someone to care and teach them how to be better citizen. They found inherited property in Tennessee, Texas, Spain, and England. Soon, Mara hired a chef, housekeeper, ranch manager and his wife, and the list went on. It was up to Mara to find a way to meet the challenges that kept coming. She did not mind for she had a bit of education that help her deal with things that came up. some of those she adopted became the leaders of the clan to aid her in the management and control of what too had to happen to keep everyone safe and happy to where they were. A core group was put in place to make decisions while Mara has final say on what was done or not. She loves those she rescued and adopted. Included in that where military, homeless and overwork people with or without kids. In the mix was a retired General, who served Mara as her personal guard. A wolf and a horse moved with her wherever she went. Before long, she would have to handle a group of people that were trying to take over the town of her assignment. She found an Ali in the form of a young boy. Then others began to offer aid in many ways. Before long, her group consisted of children, adults, the animals, a mission, an underground city, and enough challenges to keep her busy for the rest of her life.

Young people are trained to use Thunder Swords and are trained by the adult Quad. A few of the states designated law enforcement officers as the highest ranking in a specific state. Those people would be the ones who would identify the Thunder team and only that officer would be able to speak with them in case of a problem. At Amber's direction, Jenn set up a specialty group in Tennessee where they could serve as a backup if a problem developed in their state. Thunder would have to be present and involved before the lead officer in that state was introduced to the Thunder team.

There challenges in every corner for the Justice world. The planet of Galancia, which was the Tribunal location, was blown up by source unknown. Mari is now the only living government official left. She can choose who she wants to work with or retire at a certain age.Dante has her dream job of overseeing a Merchant Fleet called the JML. The requirements keep growing. Shanna learns that promises must be kept, for once given folks count on her to fulfill them.A species that no one can see offers to join forces with the Justice. Lives are in jeopardy, and surprises happen. New folks come on the scene and cause danger and fear to enter.Everyone has to continually train to become the best they can be for the duties before them.

Mary is an orphan in her early twenties. When she meets Jenn, all she owns is what she is wearing. Her complexion is light and she is of medium height. Mary doesn't have a place to live in. Sells items on commission at the market, to anyone willing to purchase. The young woman owns no shoes, oversees those younger than herself. She is honest and hard working.Griz is probably about forty to forty-five and is a warehouse owner. He is a large man of dark skin. He buys and sells. Often picks up merchandise for the cost of shipping. This is his total income and Mary serves as an assistant in keeping track of what he has on hand.Mary's dream is to have a computer that will give information on what passes through his warehouses. Griz wants to be able to see what he is purchasing, which would require a ship to get from place to place.

The Justice family had grown as had their training. The oldest daughter, Shanna had to step up and grow as well. Soon their second daughter would do the same. Under the military Shanna was shown as capable to be a ship's XO or Exec Officer. She had moved up to be a full Commander for the Justice due to Mari's health issues. Now she had to take a ship to pick up product for the group and along the way the ship she was on was ordered to stand down and prepare to be boarded. She was not willing to allow that which resulted in some training of the group aboard in order to get them back with the main unit. Because of the training she had to relearn in order to teach, they returned in time to aid the rest of the fleet at their meeting point.

There is a severe danger on the horizon for those trying to aid their friends. An assassin targeted members, the Marines are locked up, an emergency has everyone running for the home base only to have to leave again soon after arrival, to save the lives of many. Even as the storm is brewing there is a benefit to be found. Support, friends, family, and strength within the group. That's if there is a backup.

Tamar, an undercover agent, was given a task by Mari, the CHAIR. She was to take a team of a dozen and retrieve a witness or witnesses from a specific planet. It was dangerous as someone was trying to control not only that planet but the rest of the universe. They used a Courier Ship to make the trip and knew that trouble was ahead as soon as they landed as their ship had watchers and any who departed it had to move as a group. Three large tubs of black dirt were waiting for access to deliver. In each container was a flask and a lid covered all. Tamar and Dante were told to go to the park level of the space station, to meet those they were to take back. The man who led the underground on the planet set up the meeting and directed his observers to get to the station which required days of running. A Gentman brought backpacks for those going, and each had an identical list of contents. Those to report were attacked and threatened. It was necessary for Tamar and team to secure everyone for they expected someone would come to inspect their ship.
