This book contains graphic war, survival, love and humor. It is for readers who want to know what it was like to serve in Vietnam. For twenty-seven years after serving in Vietnam I suffered from Delayed Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. In 1983 a psychiatrist, told me I needed to get into group therapy. I de I wrote for two years and began to feel better about myself and about Vietnam. I had so many notes I decided to try and write them into a book. I didn't have to do any research. This is how GUNNER'S WINGS came to be. I wrote this story about the helicopter side of the war. Names, places and dates have been changed. If characters in this book resemble anyone living or dead, it is purely coincidently.
