When Lisa inherits her family's diner in her hometown of Murfeessboro, Tennessee, however, the two are eager to have their own business, and naively relocate. As fate would have it, their house sits across from one Charlotte Grace Danby, a privileged yet depressed thirteen year old who never expected to lay eyes on, nevertheless meet anyone as electric as Queen. From the moment Charlotte Grace spots her new neighbor teetering on stilettos, chasing her Chihuahua, her curiosity is piqued... They develop an uncanny friendship, but when it creates deadly upheaval, will Charlotte Grace defy her roots or will she stay silent, causing Queen to face untold misery?
