Inseln reagieren besonders empfindlich auf den kommenden Klimawandel, da sie nur ber geringe Wasserressourcen und selten ber eine kommunale Wasserversorgung verf gen. Die heutigen Wassersysteme sind linear aufgebaut, wobei das gereinigte Abwasser direkt in die Natur zur ckgef hrt wird. Um eine nachhaltige Abwasserbewirtschaftung zu erreichen, kann eine Wassernutzung eingef hrt werden, die den hydrologischen Kreislauf nachahmt. Ziel der Studie ist es, die Wasserversorgung, das Wasser- und Abwassersystem, die Einstellung zur Wiederverwendung von Abwasser sowie die Frage zu untersuchen, ob die zirkul re Aquakultur ein nachhaltiges System in Entwicklungsl ndern ist.Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Inselbewohner im Allgemeinen mit ihren Wasserressourcen umgehen und dass eine zweifelhafte Einstellung zur Wiederverwendung von Schwarzwasser auf den so genannten Ekelfaktor zur ckzuf hren sein k nnte. Trotz der unterschiedlichen Akzeptanz der Wiederverwendung von Wasser sollten auf der Insel mehr Kreislaufsysteme eingef hrt werden, die den Entwicklungsl ndern eine nachhaltigere Bewirtschaftung ihrer Abw sser erm glichen.

Gli scenari climatici attuali mostrano che in futuro avremo periodi di siccit pi lunghi e precipitazioni pi intense, il che aumenta la vulnerabilit dei nostri sistemi di approvvigionamento di acqua potabile e di gestione delle acque reflue. Le isole sono sensibili ai cambiamenti climatici in arrivo perch hanno risorse idriche ridotte e raramente dispongono di un approvvigionamento idrico comunale. Gli attuali sistemi idrici sono lineari, dove le acque reflue depurate vengono restituite direttamente alla natura. Per ottenere una gestione sostenibile delle acque reflue possibile introdurre un uso dell'acqua che imiti il ciclo idrologico. Lo scopo dello studio quello di indagare l'approvvigionamento idrico, il sistema idrico e fognario, l'attitudine al riutilizzo delle acque reflue e se l'acquacoltura circolare sia un sistema sostenibile nei Paesi in via di sviluppo.I risultati indicano che gli isolani gestiscono generalmente le loro risorse idriche e che un atteggiamento dubbioso nei confronti del riutilizzo delle acque nere pu essere dovuto al cosiddetto fattore disgusto. Nonostante l'accettazione variabile del riutilizzo dell'acqua, possibile introdurre sull'isola sistemi di acquacoltura circolare che consentano ai Paesi in via di sviluppo una gestione pi sostenibile delle acque reflue.

Para obter uma gest o sustent vel das guas residuais, pode ser introduzida uma utiliza o da gua que imite o ciclo hidrol gico. O objetivo do estudo investigar o abastecimento de gua, o sistema de gua e esgotos, a atitude em rela o reutiliza o das guas residuais, bem como se a aquicultura circular um sistema sustent vel nos pa ses em desenvolvimento.Os resultados indicam que os ilh us gerem, em geral, os seus recursos h dricos e que uma atitude duvidosa em rela o reutiliza o de guas negras pode dever-se ao chamado fator de repugn ncia. Apesar de uma aceita o vari vel da reutiliza o da gua, podem ser introduzidos na ilha sistemas de gua mais circulares, o que permite aos pa ses em desenvolvimento uma gest o mais sustent vel das suas guas residuais.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the water supply, water and sewage system, attitude to reuse wastewater, as well as whether circular aquaculture is a sustainable system in developing counties.The results indicate that islanders generally manage their water resources and that a dubious attitude to reusing black water may be due to the so-called disgust factor. Despite a varying acceptance of reusing water, more should circular water systems can be introduced on the island, which gives developing countries more sustainable management of their wastewater.
