This is a unique collection of short stories about my amazing experiences on many safaris in Southern Africa. All Chapter Headings are written in English and in Zulu. Nature and all animals are a part of us. We must protect and take care of them. It has been said wildlife is infringing on our communities but actually we have taken away their wilderness. With compassion help relocate the beautiful wildlife instead of killing them. The animals feel love, pain and they are devoted to their young, just like us. Protect these precious souls. Preserve our natural resources and protect all animals. We must respect and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. We can not exist without natural resources and our wildlife Southern Africa is an amazing and diverse country. Mind you, most of my stories are about my safaris in the 70s, 80s and 90s and today's southern Africa has changed a lot withd development, change of government, progress etc. just like the rest of the world. Therefore some of the stories in this book are about the way it was and still is in some areas of Africa. My second southern Africa book, about safari experiences I enjoyed in 2017, will be available in early January and it shows a different side of southern Africa. Watch for it Life is a contradiction because nothing changes and at the same time, everything changes.

Extreme loss, disappointment, difficult health issues, death and sometimes just climbing the mountains of life, can be completely devastating and there are situations when everything is just too hard to endure. The days, weeks, and months that follow are swallowed up in nothingness You don't even remember them. Life becomes a dense fog and you wander lost Days, nights, weeks, months, time....just drifts away. You don't know if its night or day and quite frankly you don't care. Before the crisis you were a strong, independent person, but now, you are lost Almost destroyed. How do you thank someone for saving your life? How do you thank someone for helping you begin a new journey in life, start a new chapter, so to speak and fill it with happiness? How do you thank someone for helping you find yourself again and walk out of the fog into the sunshine? How do you thank such a cherished person who always takes the time to say "Hello, how are you"? How do you thank someone for always being there and taking the time to care, to visit and bring such happiness to your spirit making you smile all day? There are no words to relate this. This someone is cherished and more precious than anything on earth. From the heart all you can say is Thank you, my very special friend for your love, compassion and understanding. Lost Behind The Wind Echoes will take it's readers from the darkness and loneliness into the sunshine, thanks to special, caring people. Friends who will take the time to bring you back from the edge of noway, forward into the light and help you find "You" again so you can become whole once more.
