In this full length play 'G' rated, a young family takes 'possession' of a deserted lighthouse so that their critically ill daughter can enjoy the sea breezes and beautiful countryside. Little do they know that, for centuries, the lighthouse has been the home and in the 'possession' of four outrageous spirits. Ben, the eight year old, has no trouble whatsoever making friends with two of the spirits, Baubles and Chaos. The story climaxes as Claire, ill with cancer, slowly fades toward death. Baubles and Chaos have no intention of letting that happen. While this play has it's serious moments, for the most part, it is a comedy and makes for great fun as the spirits romp around the stage. The adults can neither see nor hear Chaos and Baubles as they converse and play with the children and terrorize a 'Man of the Cloth' All in innocent fun, of course 4f. 4m. 2 children

Mass shootings are a part of our current culture. Not until now did I have something to say (write) about this mass murder. This ten minute play for teens in the classroom is to honor and memorialize the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. It focuses on a small class of students hidden away in safety by their English teacher and what happens while they wait for the shooting to stop. But the question begs will they ever be safe again? The Parkland mass school shooting has not been allowed to be forgotten due to a large group of brave teenagers.
George has taken his daughter on their first vacation since the divorce. It was supposed to have created 'quality time' for them...but, George never sees her. Every day, she is off somewhere in the theme park with her new best friends. Tippy-Toe, one of the theme park characters befriends George. Is she just an actor dressed up in a fairy costume or something much more? 2f. 1m.
"You can't make this stuff up " Inspired by true crime file cases. Two lovers are shot in the head but there's no gun at the crime scene. It can't be murder/suicide with no gun. This looks more and more like a double homicide. Or does it? Then Detectives O'Roarke, Garcia and Sneed are called to a potential homicide with no victim. Liquor, jealousy, machismo and a few rocks...but does it add up to murder? Phoebe Sneed is a bright and shiny new detective taking over as the lead detective for the first time. Her case has too many bullets, too many perps and too many witnesses.
An unknown artist, living in a loft in Soho, is obsessed with his beautiful neighbor across the street. Ben observes her as she comes and goes in her daily life. She never fails to chat up the elderly neighbors sitting on the stoop. Too shy and reclusive to ask her out, Ben watches and then paints her, from memory, again and again. Suddenly the police are at his door. His goddess, his dream woman is dead and the police like him for the crime. But upon further investigation there are other suspects that are just as likely to have murdered her. Detectives O'Roarke and Garcia sift through the forensics, motives and physical evidence and at first glance it seems that all the evidence points to this strange, young artist who is obsessed with the beautiful actress. But as the detectives immerse themselves in her lifestyle and daily routine, it turns out that the victim has more than one secret.
Another mass shooting at the most unlikely of places, a small neighborhood market run by an Indian family. Is it terrorism? Will there be more? Who would have a motive against this seemingly innocent family working in their store? The killer slipped away leaving no clues, no evidence, no witnesses; leaving five dead and two mortally wounded. The case quickly goes cold then heats up again. Out of desperation, the remaining family members bring in a physic-medium who has a strange vision. Who is this predator with amber eyes? Who is this perp stalking pretty girls?

"This amazingly well written book is based on a true story that is both captivating and a compelling read. The characters are so real, and their adventures were entertaining and thought provoking. I spent an entire four-hour plane ride devouring this book and I would love for the author to write a sequel."-Bonnie Jo Davis Alaska was calling LaVerne's dream was to follow the poet Robert Service's footsteps to the wilds of Alaska. At sixteen she was already writing her own music and believed that her talent could only flourish on the back trails of the Yukon. In 1921, at seventeen, she leaves her home in Tumwater, Washington in the middle of the night and alone. Impersonating a boy, she hires aboard a freighter, out of Seattle, and works her way to the north. From boat rides on the Yukon, encounters with a native tribe, fighting off male suitors to filing homestead papers, falling in love, and working the land, LaVerne uses newfound frontier wisdom as a basis for expanding both her music and her perceptions. Black-eyed Joe, a native of Alaska told her, "No man owns what Mother Spirit does not freely give". "What a charming folk tale, LaVerne thought. I could use the story in one of my songs." It was in Alaska she learns the realities of frontier life that will shape her future, help her create music, and lead her in directions no woman has explored alone before. This compelling historical fiction book is based on the true-life story of the author's Aunt LaVerne. Perfect for anyone who enjoys adventure, the outdoors, tales of survival and triumph against the odds.
