Da die Medizinische Fakultat der Universitat Greifswald sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, Community Medicine erstmalig an einer Medizinischen Fakultat in Deutschland zu implementieren, wurde im Januar 1994 ein Erster Internationaler Workshop Community Medicine in Greifswald durchgefuhrt.
