Daher beansprucht die detaillierte und systematische Untersuchung von Schoenfelds UEbersetzung eine zum Teil paradigmatische Geltung. Kernstucke dieser Fallstudie sind ein fortlaufender UEbersetzungskommentar zu funf ausgewahlten Textpassagen (Kapitel 3) und systematische UEbersichten uber die individuellen Verschiebungen (Anton Popovic) an der Textoberflache (Kapitel 4) und an der Werkstruktur (Kapitel 5). Auf den Ergebnissen der Kapitel 3-5 basiert Kapitel 6: UEbersetzungsprofil.
