William Sharp

William Sharp may appear to be an unlikely contributor to the weird tale, as the bulk of his work-especially that written under the female pseudonym Fiona Macleod-consists of retellings of Celtic myth and legend; but since such legendry is full of weird elements, ranging from metempsychosis to doppelg ngers to revenants, it is unsurprising that Sharp has belatedly been recognized as a distinctive author of weird fiction and poetry.
