William Van Horn er en av de få nålevende serieskaperne som både skriver og tegner serier. Det gir ham en unik mulighet til å eksperimentere. Noen ganger tar han det helt ut i metafiksjonen, men Van Horn er alltid bevisst på at figurene må være seg selv lik. Denne boken retter søkelyset mot hans senere tegneserieproduksjon.
