This book combines the experience and achievements in engineering practice of the China Academy of Space Technology, Xi’an, with a focus on the field of high-power multipactor over recent decades. It introduces the main concepts, theories, methods and latest technologies of multipactor simulation, at both the theoretical level and as a process of engineering, while providing a comprehensive introduction to the outstanding progress made in the research technology of multipactor numerical simulation in China. At the same time, a three-dimensional numerical simulation method of multipactor for typical high-power microwave components of spacecraft is introduced. This book is an essential volume for engineers in the field of high-power microwave technology. It can also be used as a reference for researchers in related fields, or as a teaching reference book for graduate students majoring in Astronautics at colleges and universities.

Computational Intelligence Assisted Design
Computational Intelligence Assisted Design framework mobilises computational resources, makes use of multiple Computational Intelligence (CI) algorithms and reduces computational costs. This book provides examples of real-world applications of technology. Case studies have been used to show the integration of services, cloud, big data technology and space missions. It focuses on computational modelling of biological and natural intelligent systems, encompassing swarm intelligence, fuzzy systems, artificial neutral networks, artificial immune systems and evolutionary computation. This book provides readers with wide-scale information on CI paradigms and algorithms, inviting readers to implement and problem solve real-world, complex problems within the CI development framework. This implementation framework will enable readers to tackle new problems without difficulty through a few tested MATLAB source codes

This book introduces an important and interesting aspect of space exploration technology: 3D printing in space. It explores the key techniques and application scenarios of this innovative technology. With several countries announcing moon missions, the dream of venturing into the vast universe is becoming a reality. 3D printing offers immense potential for space exploration efforts. Featuring over 100 color graphics, this book not only explains fundamental theories and research advances in an easily understandable way but also addresses practical questions like achieving "waste recycling" in spacecraft and printing "houses" on the moon's surface. Additionally, it provides insights on dealing with component failures during deep space missions. Drawing from the authors' extensive research and development work in satellite payload technology, this book combines solid theoretical knowledge with practical engineering experience. It is a valuable resource for students, researchers, and engineers interested in space exploration and astronautics. Let this book serve as a vessel for readers to embark on their journey through the sea of stars. The English translation of this book, originally in Chinese, was facilitated by artificial intelligence. The content was later revised by the author for accuracy.
On the Forehead and In the Heart
How can parents communicate to their children what it means to worship God? How can parents teach their children to love and confide in God but, at the same time, fear Him too? How can parents help their children to know how to respect their elders but put no one ahead of God? Through devotionals examining portions of Scripture, On the Forehead and in the Heart will show that God has laid out His blueprint for Christian parenting in the Bible. His message transcends space and time. It speaks powerfully to contemporary parenting as it did to the ancient Israelites. This book will encourage parents to dig deeper into God's truth, live out biblical principles in every day life, and apply God's timeless wisdom to raising children. Let us see how God will help us respond to these changing times with His timeless Word Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, Yun came to the United States after college and earned her MBA and MSA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She came to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior during this time. Yun went on to receive a MACE and a DEdMin from Dallas Theological Seminary. After the birth of their daughter, Annie, Yun and her husband, Frank, recognized their smallness in the parenting journey. They needed God's wisdom, strength, and guidance. THEY NEEDED GOD Being parents helped Yun and Frank see the Father's heart for His children and His desire for homes to be a fertile ground for children's spiritual development. Yun served as a children's leader at Bible Study Fellowship for 10 years and a children's pastor for 5 years. She is a teacher, daughter, wife, mother, friend, and adventurer. Yun and Frank reside in Plano, Texas.

2022 PROSE Awards Category Winner - Biography & Autobiography Foreword INDIES Book of the Year Awards - 2021 BRONZE Winner for Biography The fascinating biography of Eunice Hunton Carter, a social justice and civil rights trailblazer and the only woman prosecutor on the Luciano trial Eunice Hunton Carter rose to public prominence in 1936 as both the only woman and the only person of color on Thomas Dewey's famous gangbuster team that prosecuted mobster Lucky Luciano. But her life before and after the trial remains relatively unknown. In this definitive biography on this trailblazing social justice activist, authors Marilyn S. Greenwald and Yun Li tell the story of this unknown but critical pioneer in the struggle for racial and gender equality in the twentieth century. Carter worked harder than most men because of her race and gender, and Greenwald and Li reflect on her lifelong commitment to her adopted home of Harlem, where she was viewed as a role model, arts patron, community organizer, and, later, as a legal advisor to the United Nations, the National Council of Negro Women, and several other national and global organizations. Carter was both a witness to and a participant in many pivotal events of the early and mid– twentieth century, including the Harlem riot of 1935 and the social scene during the Harlem Renaissance. Using transcripts, letters, and other primary and secondary sources from several archives in the United States and Canada, the authors paint a colorful portrait of how Eunice continued the legacy of the Carter family, which valued education, perseverance, and hard work: a grandfather who was a slave who bought his freedom and became a successful businessman in a small colony of former slaves in Ontario, Canada; a father who nearly single-handedly integrated the nation's YMCAs in the Jim Crow South; and a mother who provided aid to Black soldiers in France during World War I and who became a leader in several global and domestic racial equality causes. Carter's inspirational multi-decade career working in an environment of bias, segregation, and patriarchy in Depression-era America helped pave the way for those who came after her.
