Erich Wolfgang Korngold, der von Gustav Mahler, Richard Strauss und Giacomo Puccini als "Wunderkind" bezeichnet wurde, bet tigte sich kompositorisch an vorderster Font der Musikwelt, seit er Kind war. Er emigrierte jedoch zum Zeitpunkt des Anschluss von sterreich an Nazi Nazi-Deutschland in die USA und komponierte Filmmusik in Hollywood. Er wollte wieder als klassischer Komponist arbeiten, trotzdem er konnte sich nicht aufholen. In folege geriet Korngolds Musik in Vergessenheit. Aber wenn man seine Werke gut analysiert, kann mann bemerken, dass sie den Geist der Wiener Romantik bernehmen. "Suite op.23 f r 2 Violinen, Cello und Klavier f r die linke Hand" wurde f r Pianist Paul Wittgenstein, der im Ersten Weltkrieg seinen rechten Arm amptierte, geschrieben. Deswegen ist es, obwohl das Kammermusik ist, f r den Pianisten von grosser Bedeutung. Anhand dieses Werks werde ich mich ber seinen kompositorischen Still, seine harmonische Sprache, und seine begabte Instulmentation ussern.
