Frommer's books aren't written by A.I. like so many of the no-name brands you'll see in online bookstores. Nor are they penned by travel writers who simply pop in briefly to a destination and then consider the job done. We use seasoned, locally-based journalists like Yvonne Gordon, a leading Emerald Isle expert and proud Irishwoman. With her guidance, you'll go to many places only locals know, and you'll skip the crowds when seeing Ireland's iconic sights. With helpful advice and honest recommendations from Frommer's, you'll climb the stones of the Giant's Causeway; marvel at the ancient ruins of the Burren, Newgrange, and the Hill of Tara; learn about the sobering history of The Troubles from former combatants in Belfast and Derry; taste the isle's best whiskeys on distillery tours; and enjoy authentic music sessions at pubs across Ireland. Frommer's Ireland is: Completely updated annually and printed in large, easy-to-read type Packed with colorful photos and helpful maps, including a full-color fold-out map Precise about pricing, with Euro and British Pound (for Northern Ireland) amounts listed for every attraction, restaurant, hotel, nightspot and shop in the guide--so there aren't any nasty surprises Insightful about the culture and history of Ireland, so you'll better understand the places you visit Filled with no-holds-barred reviews, which will introduce you to the country's most authentic lodgings (B&B's, castles, historic hotels), eateries, museums, historic sights and natural attractions. No entity has paid to be in this guide--or any Frommer's guide. At Frommer's, we pride ourselves on decades of journalistic integrity. Savvy about saving money, with tips that work for everyone from luxury-seekers to backpackers Mindful that your vacation time is limited, this book includes smart itineraries for trips of differing lengths and for travelers with varying interests About Frommer's: There's a reason that Frommer's has been the most trusted name in travel for more than 65 years. Arthur Frommer created the best-selling guide series in 1957 to help American servicemen fulfill their dreams of travel in Europe, and since then, we have published thousands of titles became a household name helping millions upon millions of people realize their own dreams of seeing our planet. It’s 3am off the coast of Lorient, France, and the all-female Team SCA are rounding the tiny Île de Groix. They are 9.6 nautical miles from the finish of the leg. Behind them, Team Vestas Wind and Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing are hot on their heels. Will Team SCA cross the line first, in this Leg 8 of the Volvo Ocean Race? After circumnavigating the globe, and sailing 37,769 nautical miles so far, over nine months, will they beat the six other teams, all male, who they have been leading for three days? This is Team SCA, the first all-female team to take part in the Volvo Ocean Race in 12 years. There are 11 women on the crew, and all of their sailing, and 18 months of training before that, are falling into place. They have spent hours in the gym and months training on the water, living together, eating together and sailing together, to prepare for this race.In the race so far, they have been through storms and cyclones, past the icebergs of the Southern Ocean and through the rough South China Sea. They have had injuries, collisions, breakages, broaches, torn sails and Chinese gybes. They’ve had little sleep, extreme hot and cold temperatures, and freeze-dried food, all while missing family, friends and children. But all the time, they have been learning, about ocean racing, about teamwork, about surviving hundreds of miles from land for weeks at a time and, most of all, about sailing an advanced ocean racing boat as fast as possible. They have beaten the all-male teams twice, in InPort Races, and now they are leading a race leg.Their coaches, their sponsors and their tens of thousands of fans around the world wait with baited breath as they sail the last miles of the leg towards the Lorient coast. A wrong manoeuvre, strong current, an unlucky breakage or lack of wind could change all the placings, even in these last few miles. But if they win the leg, it could change the future for women in the world’s most extreme ocean race. This is their story…
The Rapture of the Church; Entering the Spiritual Dimension!: Prodigal Sons Going Home
The world is changing and many people are trying to figure out where to look for answers to the global issues facing us today. The Church has warned of "end time" events since the beginning since they are part of its doctrine, but very few would or could ever imagine how these things will come to fulfillment. It is written "eye has not seen nor ear heard the things God has in store for them who love him." It is also written that the "LORD SHALL SUDDENLY COME INTO HIS TEMPLE" (which we are his temple). MY books (this is one of many) discuss the meaning of the Bible as a book of parables and allegory about US and God when we collide as two worlds, forever changing us in the power of true transformation and conversion. Truly we will all know why "no man will have to say "know God" after these events have been completed to make us a new heaven and a new earth within. My mission is to show how both Judaism and Christianity have the same message if understood from the spiritual point of view. Messiah would bring clarity to the scriptures and therefore peace on earth: WHO is ready? To whom has the 'arm of the LORD been revealed? To me
