She thinks it makes her look like a movie star. The days start getting warmer and the other lambs are all looking forward to the farmer taking off their coats. But Zoey does not want him to take hers away. One day all the sheep line up to get sheared, but Zoey hides. Now she is the only one with a thick coat and she feels very pretty. Zoey waits for someone to tell her she is beautiful, but no one does. Her friends play happily in the sunshine, but Zoey is far too hot to play. Zoey realizes that she is not looking her best, yet her friends treat her the same as before. She thinks her friends do not care how she looks, but her mother explains that they just accept and love Zoey as she is. That is called 'friendship eyes' - when you look at each other with love. Zoey starts looking at her friends with friendship eyes and starts seeing the good in everyone. She realizes that there is nothing wrong with trying to look your best, but the real beauty is in how you behave and not what you wear or how you look. G-lamb-orous is part of the exciting Farm-tastic series. This is a set of 10 story books for children, with farm animal characters.
