I was one of Gwendolyn's students and a lifelong follower of her work. I remember reading some of my own attempts at poetry to our group and I still remember her words to me, "Acie, we sing poetry. Yours sounds like the sports page of the Tribune." Well, I appreciated her criticism. It would have been easier for her to just write me off and say nothing or a perfunctory "nice". But she woke me and my next attempts started to progressively loosen until I was singing my poems. And she smiled at me and I was thrilled. She listened to my every word and to every student's every word. She didn't just drift away and let us go on and on. She hung with us. Attentive. All the students loved her and appreciated her presence with us. After all, she was quite a celebrity. She attained all four of the biggest awards in poetry. She succeeded Carl Sandburg as Poet laureate of Illinois, she became the Poetry Consultant at The Library of Congress, she won the Guggenheim Fellowship and, of course, she was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for her second book, Annie Allen in 1950. It is difficult to summarize a life as fruitful and varied as hers in what I assume is a one hour play. I worked about 15 of my favorite Gwendolyn Brooks poems into the play. I have tried to capture her love of the life around her and her powers of observation. She just let the words flow like a river and I float upon it. Sit back and groove with her. That's what I do. I just go with it. I don't analyze anything. No explanations. I just groove. I am very happy that I knew her and I am happy that she lived.
Geraldo Rivera is probably the best known television journalist of this generation. He has been active probably 50 years and has worked on most of the major news networks doing feature shows covering the main events going on. He has become friends with many of the important politicians and newsmakers including President Trump. His presence on a story seems to give it an instant credibility. This 10,000 word book covers the major aspects of his career as a journalist and also his prolific sex life. He claims to have made love with at least a thousand women and no doubt many were underlings who he took advantage of. During that time he was married 5 times and had 5 kids with the different wives. He tried to defend other entertainment figures such as Matt Lauer, Harvey Weinstein, and Charlie Rose when they were accused of sexual harassment. Also many of the tope executives at the television networks who also were accused of taking advantage of their positions for sexual procurement. Geraldo has been a one of a kind broadcaster and very popular and sought after for his commentaries.

This is a short book about 2500 words describing the phenomenon of the G-spot and urethral ejaculation during orgasms. Actually, the G-spot is analogous to the male's prostate gland. Both sit alongside the urethra and produce a similar fluid. In the male it is called semen and in the female, it is similar, but without any sperm. The fluid is ejaculated out of the urethra during sexual orgasms, but there is no urine in the fluid. Doesn't look like urine or smell like urine It is not urine. What is especially interesting is that both the prostate and G-spot are secondary orgasmic centers and the male and female can have an orgasm at those places.

This story takes place around 1890 in the somewhat lawless land where Utah, Nevada, and Arizona comes together. It had been settled by Mormons a couple generations earlier and polygamy was acceptable, whether it was actually legal or not. This is a story about reverse polygamy. Mary Christina Chapman had inherited a fairly large ranch when both her parents died. She didn't need a husband. To help her run the ranch she needed several husbands Her sexual preference was a young woman who had been raised on another ranch in the area. The booklet is over 50000 words long and explores the thinking and social mores of Mary Chapman as she defies the societal ban on polygamy and does it with three husbands and a female lover. She was an independent thinker and felt if men could marry several women, then she should be able to marry several men, and a woman also if she chooses. These were bold people who lived their lives the way they felt was best, not by anyone else's standards.

This is an 8000 word booklet about master television interviewer Charlie Rose who has lost his positions with CBS and PBS because of allegations he sexually abused young who were working for the stations or applying for positions in the productions. He Was not accused of any physically forceful sex. He was accused of using his position of power to approach women verbally for possible sex and in some cases unwanted touching. This booklet includes two his late-night sexual phone calls he made to potential employees and two examples of his television interviews with Bill Moyers and Norman Mailer. Also quite a bit of narrative trying to describe and explain what happened that led to his demise and the results of it. Also Charlie Rose's own words about the field of journalism today and the techniques he used. Was Charlie Rose guilty? That is a difficult question. It is a new generation out there. Much different from when Charlie was living most of his life. Maybe if he was being judged by the ethics of his own generation, then he would be considered not guilty. He did a lot sexual innuendos with women, but not much sex. He was married a long time and after that he had a 25-year girlfriend, so he didn't have many sexual affairs, but he did like to think about it and talk about it. And make forward gestures which he considered harmless and enjoyable fun. But to the younger generation of women, it was offensive. He just didn't know that.

So your teenage child is exhibiting symptoms of depression. You know there is something wrong. He or she used to seem perfectly normal. Full of life. Happy to be alive. Sure there were moments when emotions might flare up. That is part being a person. We might be more emotionally involved than necessary and sometimes we get carried away. Everybody does sometimes. Or at least they used to. Maybe they have outgrown the intensity of strong emotions and everything has been fairly mild and calm for years now.But we are talking about teenagers. Hormones acting upon them and causing feelings that they might not understand and might not be able to control. Human maturation takes such a long time. So many years we spend in our childhood and that includes as teenagers. They read all kinds of stuff in books and watch television. All kinds of stuff. And movies and of course, the internet. A myriad of a variety of programming they are exposed to. Other generations didn't have to deal with all that.I think parents should discuss everything with their teenager. All the stuff they read and watch. The ideas and experiences they see and read about. Talk about it with them. Don't make them take in inside and go secret with all their thoughts. You have to keep an open mind. It is up to you to accept your child's interests and attempts at personal learning. You can't be domineering when the child is sharing their real thoughts with you. If they are old enough to think for themselves then they are old enough for you to respect their rights as a person. Just like you expect to be respected
Most guys know that some guys just have a way with women. Matt Lauer, a former anchor for 20 years on the NBC "Today" show seems to be one of those guys who are successful in life, and especially with women. He kept himself well-trimmed and well-dressed. Some guys that just comes naturally. They have a knack of keeping their bodies tight. They might not really have to work very hard at it. They just always seem to appear slim and firm. Some guys are lucky that way. Some women also.Matt's job provided him with the chances to meet a constant flow of pretty women with good shapes and wiling to play if it might lead to a chance to be on the screen eventually or even in the production staff. Matt was perfectly placed. He was a star and had the power to pull strings for the women if he chose to. Or also he might choose to abandon them in their career quest if they were not interested in his fun and games. He had the star's office at the NBC studio in New York City and his attention was very much in demand by these young women. This 5000 word booklet explores Matt's lifestyle and concentrates on a sexual affair he had with Brooke Nevils that led to his career downfall and the loss of his marriage and home.
