How did I find myself alone in a ship with the one person who frustrates me the most? Why does Sarah have to be so different? Why do I keep hearing her name in my head? And why did I ever agree to take her to the middle of nowhere and wait to be paid for her trip until I got there? This makes absolutely no sense to me. And yet here I am. The worst part is we'll have to act like we're married for part of the trip. This year was an off year for Apples. At least it was in my yard. Others in my neighborhood reported a record year as far as the number of Apples on their trees goes. However, my trees only really invest in producing Apples every other year. And this year they were saving their energy to reach for the sun. Still I must have gotten over 100 Apples off of my two Apple trees. It's fine that I didn't get more Apples because I'm busy doing a million other things including, of course, writing books. In 2017, I wrote Strawberry Cheesecake Applesauce. That treat always makes me drool. This year I'm writing Chocolate Covered Cherries Applesauce, which is another treat that will make you be rude and salivate.I hope that you enjoy these Recipes just as much as those in my previous book. And I hope that you get creative and make your own Gourmet Applesauce Recipes. You can find tips on choosing the right Apples and flavors in Strawberry Cheesecake Applesauce. I won't bother repeating those tips here. Recipes are handy to have. I often use them as a starting point. But mostly, my cooking is an art. And of course, I don't write down how much of what I put in any of my Applesauces when I'm making them.Notwithstanding that, I've added a chapter at the end of this book titled Recipes. That's where I've tried to recall how much of each ingredient I used in each Recipe. Each of my Gourmet Applesauce Recipes starts with my Basic Gourmet Applesauce Recipe which is also included in the Recipes chapter. Perhaps I wrote that chapter as an attempt to assuage my guilt for not writing each Recipe down at the time I made it. No, that can't be true. I don't feel any guilt about that at all.I must have written it because I wanted you to be able to repeat my successes. I wrote it for you, so that your attempts at making my Recipes wouldn't turn out to be total disasters. Of course, when making a Gourmet Applesauce, it's hard to create a total flop. However, as you'll learn in my Orange Spiced Punch Applesauce chapter, you may end up with something totally different from what you had in mind when you started. Oh those Apples and flavors They can be such tricksters.Rating G; Reading Level Easy 5th Grade; Longest Word - Transmogrified

Dancer IV introduced two new main characters - Salmon and his sister Buttterfly. Salmon can ride skipping rocks. Butterfly can shimmer through walls. Hey, it's a magical series, so why not. Salmon, though loses his confidence in his ability to skip and ride rocks. His girlfriend, Dancer is trying to encourage him to try again. He wants nothing to do with it. But somehow he has to get his confidence back.Butterfly has disappeared. Walks-Like-Thunder the horse god, the Director, and the Shaman have left for business on another world. But they didn't take Butterfly with them. As the Author says, "Maybe she fell into a wormhole and is now back at her old home. She did miss it. Nah, that wouldn't be it - wormholes are too normal to have any place in this story."Ramon and Raul have all of a sudden started weeping uncontrollably. Nobody knows why. They haven't been moody since they and Magnifique were young. And they never wept uncontrollably before - at least not to Magnifique's knowledge. How will this all be resolved? And what's the surprise ending to this series?

A friend who read The Dancer, said she felt like she was right in the story. When the Dancer danced, she danced. But perhaps you don't relate to the Dancer, there are plenty of other main characters you can relate to. There's the Dancer, who is now called the Dancer Magnifique, or just Magnifique for short. There's her husband, Straight-Spear, the Chief's son. He dances on his horse, Rides-Like-Thunder. Rides-Like-Thunder is a god. Magnifique and Straight-Spear's daughter is now Dancer, following in her mother's footsteps. However, she will dance atop Rides-Like-Thunder, while her mother will not. There's the Shaman and the Director. Their first meeting didn't go well, as she swung Dancer's shoes at him and knocked him out. But now they're buddy-buddy. They act as Grandparents to Dancer. And there's Ramon and Raul - Magnifique's boyfriends before she met Straight-Spear. Now they're buddy-buddy. In the fourth story, Dancer is left all alone. She is old enough to be all alone. But she's used to being among several adults, whom she can rely on for help, most of the time. She doesn't need their help, but just in case. All the adults in her life have left, including Rides-Like-Thunder. They've all gone to other worlds for various reasons. They will be back, but for she is alone. And it's enough to make the Author cry (I forgot to mention that the Author is one of the main characters.) She was all alone, so she did what she always did - she danced. She danced for joy, she danced for strength, she danced for sorrow, she danced for weariness. She danced because she didn't know what else to do. She had been dancing ever since they left. What had it been, 7, maybe 8 days now? She didn't know. At some point, she would fall exhausted, asleep, and stop dancing. But not yet. She felt she could go on for ages. In book three, The Dancer becomes the Dancer Magnifique. And the story's focus is more on her daughter, who is now The Dancer. She curtsied to herself in the mirror, and as she did so, her reflection in the mirror curtsied back to her. She tried it again, and without fail, the mirror curtsied back to her. What a marvelous invention she thought, a curtsying mirror. Of course it was just a normal mirror, but she liked being fanciful and pretending that it was a special mirror, one which obeyed her every command. She curtsied to the mirror once more. Then fully assured of her command over the mirror, she walked away. But the figure in the mirror didn't move. She couldn't believe she was not in control of her special mirror, so she just kept walking out the door, even though her reflection did not follow. Besides she was late for dinner, her mother would be expecting her.The Dancer tells her mother. The Shaman, the Dancer's Grandmother, insists that the Dancer must fix the mirror all by herself. Will anyone defy the Shaman and help the Dancer fix the mirror? How would she even start to fix it?

In the second story in this series, Dancer, a Chief, a Shaman, a God who is a horse, and Dancer's other close friends must heal the holes that have developed between the worlds. These holes have developed because Dancer and her friends opened them by using their magic. Of course, their magic alone wasn't enough to open these holes. Their magic had acted on their desires, their desires for things to be different.Once the holes were opened, Dancer and her friends continued to use them, which made the holes larger. But now people are falling through who have no magic to fall back through the other way. People are falling through unintentionally. And somehow that had to stop. This story is told from Jamil, the Artist's, perspective. So, I thought it appropriate to include a short story about another artist at the end. It's titled, The Artist. Creative, I know. This artist has always wanted to be an artist, but has to give up his dream because he can't make enough money at it and because it's not an accepted profession. Eventually, he does become an artist. However, there's one thing he cannot paint - a sunset. The Dancer is a simple story of a young woman in love, a young woman who is trying to find out who she is. While the story is simple, the manner in which it unfolds is anything but. And sometimes the ride is so wild it has everyone, including the Author, hanging on to their seats. The Dancer starts on the Stage and that's where it ends. In between, it goes to the beach, to an Artist's Studio, to a Native Village. We come to understand that the Artist's Studio and Native Village are other worlds. Will the Dancer find true love? Will she find her place in the World? Welcome to the wonderful, if somewhat strange and chaotic world of The Dancer.Series: 5 Books - Fantasy - Other Worlds - Love Story Ease: Very Easy; Target Audience - Everybody who is young at heart and who loves stories about those who are in love and about community.Rating G; Reading Level Very Easy 5th Grade; Longest Word: Categorization Sometimes she felt like she was living on a yo-yo. Every computer has to have a Language in which to write the applications and operating system. Most computers use several Languages.] It would be nice if that Language were simple enough to use that if you needed to do something simple that wasn't provided for by the computer, you could whip up a little application to do that for you in a matter of minutes. And, even if you needed to do something complex, you could still use this same simple-to-use Language.A computer Programming Language is a group of Commands which tell the computer what to do.If you could devise the simplest computer Language possible, how would you go about it? Perhaps you'd say, "Who needs a computer Language?" Well computer Languages are used to write all those apps you use. Computer Languages are used to write websites. And having a computer Language available to do simple tasks that aren't available by clicking somewhere in an app, would come in handy.Rating G; Reading Level Simple Technical 9th Grade; Longest Words: Transformation, Understandable

Short Spiritual/Mystical Stories and Poems brought to you by my forever friend - The Wind. The Wind is Whispering: Whispering in Your Ear is the sequel to or continuation of The Language of the Wind: Blueberry Juice for the Soul. In The Language of the Wind, we explored how the Wind speaks to us, the language it uses, and how it communicates. I shared nuggets of wisdom from the Wind which I call Blueberry Juice for the Soul. And I shared poems about Peace, Paradise, and Butterflies. All of whom rest in the Wind.InThe Wind is Whispering, we'll explore how the Wind speaks to us at different seasons. And I'll share how the Wind Whispers to us in different situations. The Wind is Whispering contains perhaps more subtle messages than The Language of the Wind. That may be because the Wind now has your attention. Whatever the case, the messages contained within both books are deep.Rated G; Reading Level Very Easy 4th Grade. Longest word: disappointments.

The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) or Seatac is one of my favorite airports. I'll reveal the secrets about what makes it so great in this book. These are secrets I've gleaned from my many trips through the airport and from doing some additional research. Seattle is a prime west coast destination. Seatac has direct flights to Alaska, Hawaii, and several continental US states. Seatac is a great place to relax, eat, shop, and get onto or off of your plane. You just might see me in at Seatac. Look for the sideburns. And I'll be wearing a smile because Seatac is a Happy Airport.

I've attended parties where people try to break the ice by asking, What's the grossest meat you've ever eaten? This book is not about that topic. For one thing, I'm a meat minimalist or a virtual vegetarian. I think that most people in the US, Europe, and other developed countries eat too much meat. It's not good for us. It's not good for the environment. And it's certainly not good for the animals who get eaten. Did they have a choice in the matter? But I'm not here to shove my point of view down your throat; or anything else for that matter. This book is also not about fancy parties where the host serves spaghetti without utensils. I don't know about you, but I've got better things to waste my money on than replacing my clothes. I know, I know, Spoilsport We're not inviting you to our party if you're going to be like that You might think that some of the foods which are mentioned in this book are gross. You may be correct in that assessment. However, you will never know unless you try them. I'll be polite. You can go first. And you never know, you may find some of these foods to be quite delightful, as do I. I'm not Mikey. I don't hate everything. On the other hand, there are quite a few things that I refuse to even try, believe it or not.Hopefully I've included enough humor in this book that you won't be totally grossed out. And you won't be saying, Gag me with a whole place setting, as one of my sister's liked to say at a younger age. When I told my other sister the title of this book - Tomato Shake and Other Foods You're Hesitant to Try - she replied, More like: and Other Foods You'd Avoid My wife probably said something like, It's no wonder your stomach's always upset. To which I probably replied, My stomach's not always upset. To which my stomach replied, Rumble, rumble.Enough introduction already. Just grab the barf bag and start reading You are curious to find out what these um ... delicacies ... are? Aren't you?
