White Swan and her sister Quite Pheasant had anticipated his day for two autumns. Now both her and her sister were anticipating the naming of their children. It was the naming day. This was a day of celebration by the entire clan. It was the custom to wait two seasons before naming a child. The belief was that if the child did not survive then it would go into the next life free of any burden of this world. During this time, the child was under observation. Mannerisms were noted and would be added to the name. Each child chose their name by the object they chose from the each of the naming hide. Their two boys had been born on the same day. They would each select an object from the edge of the naming hide that would determine their name. So far neither one of their sons had demonstrated any behavior that would add an extra identifier to their name. A large white swan had arrived early in the morning. White Swan looked across the lake where is swam gracefully in a gracious and relax manner. This was a sign to her that something special would happen. White Swan was aware of an eagle that circled silently overhead during the entire naming ceremony. Quiet Pheasant's son selected the feather of a Golden Hawk. This was a powerful symbol and would mean that he would have the name Golden Hawk. White Swan's son was the last child to select his name symbol. He was the youngest of all the children selection names. She watched as he went immediately and picked up the claw of an eagle. He turned and held his selection high above his head. The eagle lets out a loud cry and descended like a spear on its way to the heart. The target continued to hold the claw above his head. In panic she rushed to protect her son, but the eagle got to its target first and carried off its prize. With tears in her eyes White Swan hugged her untouched son as. He was all smiles. Her totem and the totem of her son, the eagle flew gracefully out of the valley. Her son had chosen the eagle and the eagle had chosen her son. White swan held up her son and declared his name as Taelo, the claw of the eagle.

They had never faced the Human opponent

The Endless Hole Joe and his team left the Cosmos Odessey and returned to Earth. He arranged for his team to modify Doorship Two and rename it the Cosmos Voyager. He and his team were explorers. He was determined to continue the exploration of universe and the galaxies. He had the Cosmos Voyager upgraded to make it comparable to the Odessey.He additionally added two small fighter craft and had the Voyager infrastructure reinforced. He then had the team practice until they could handle he Voyager with their eyes closed. He left nothing to chance. Finally, the Voyager was ready and made its journey through the Hole. They were greeted by an onslaught that they had not expected. Their practicing had paid off. Joe was able to use the Hole cannon as a weapon to eliminate the biggest of the space craft delivering a brutal onslaught to the Voyager. The enemy was defeated but the Voyager had lost an entire section of their six sided wheel. It was on the verge of collapse. Joe's immediate action is to retreat through the hole back to Earth. Once back he had extensive modifications made to the Voyager that made it he most formidable weapon that he and his two Rear Admirals could possibly make it. On return to the galaxy that had almost destroyed the Voyager they confronted the population on the planet. The rudimentary communication let Joe know that the beings were the survivors of the fifth planet that was nothing more than a burned, black ball. That destruction had been caused by beings from a distant solar system.The beings on the planet sent up a warning that caused Joe and his team to pick up an object approaching from a distant solar system at a third the speed of light. On its arrival, the massive spaceship made the Voyager appear to be the size of a dingy. An attempt at establishing friendly communication with them is met with the launch of missiles.Joe orders the Hole cannon to take out the control center of the massive ship. The massive ship it then rigged to become a massive explosive, a trojan horse and then flown back to the solar system of its origin. There it is met by three similar ships that surrounded it. A massive hard fought battle ensues and in the end the Hole cannon causes the planet to self-destruct and become dust and steam orbiting its star. Joe and his team return to Earth and have to recover from the guilt of having demolished a planet populated by intelligent beings. The recovery is slow but Joe ensures that everyone realizes that he gave the orders to ensure the teams survival. The team once again goes out and to explore the far galaxies and do so with the mind set of establishing friendly relationships with the beings that they might find.The expanded Cosmos fleet meets an Alien Sentinal ship that destroys the USS Cosmos Odessey and in the ensuing battle the remaining two ships destroy that Sentinal Ship. They once again return to Earth to get the two remaining ships repaired and to replace the Odessey. Their continued journies are assured by getting all ships upgraded in fire power and staffing. They become one of the most sophisticated battle hardened "friendly" explorers that kickass when kicked.

Aliens We Tom and Linda opened the Solar system with the invention of the Door.They knew that the method of Door use and the requirement that each door needed to be at the desired location would open the Solar System during their life time but the rest of the universe was beyond reach. The Door had miraculously cured Joe, Lydia and Darian of three different life ending cancers. All three had risen to new heights of leadership and capability. Tom and Linda two genius scientists along with super mind H3 develop the capability to create a Hole through the fabric of space.During the development of this capability, they cross wires with a disgruntled Army Colonel that attempt to kill Joe, Lydia and the President of the United States. Joe's heroic actions in saving both Lydia and the President earns him a promotion to Admiral of the Cosmic fleet.They survived the attempts to end the Door program and then at the height of the Hole program they discovered and resolved the most extensive and hideously cruel life threatening sabotage of the Door program. The exposure of the sabotage solidified the resolve of the team and together they prepared to go through the Hole to the far distance in the Universe to another Galaxy and solar system. An unprovoked attacked upon arrival surprised the team. They had a friendship mind set and had not expected the reception they received.Their response is preventive and Joe refrains from a retaliatory response. Resolving the conflict between two dueling planets while establishing meaningful communications was clearly going to take more time than Joe and his team desired. He chooses to leave the Cosmos Odessey, return to Earth and seek to lead the Cosmos Voyager on another journey of discovery. On return and during preparation of the Cosmos Voyager Joe follows the interrogation of the twins who were the persons planting the bombs on the Odessey.The trail leads back to Mathew Pinkerton III, an arch enemy of the President, a prisoner in a maximum security prison who through a nephew of a friend reaches out to a Russian operative to activate a long planned revenge against that President and the Inter galactic program she has sponsored. Joe returns participates in the successful closure of the sabotage case and prepares to take the USS Cosmos Voyager to another journey through the Hole. He then prepares the team for a second round of confrontation on the other side of the Universe.

It seemed like it would be a perfect day.A flatbed truck parked at the next grill and eight farm boys got out and started to get their grill going. But their table was a ways from their grill.They shouted over and said that they were coming over to get the one he, Dale and Guy were using.The fight was very one-sided. He it was three on one. He put up a fight as best he could.Some other picnickers and some park rangers stopped the fight. The rangers made both he and the others leave the park.Guy was the one that was in shape to drive the old pick that Dale had just purchased. They dropped Dale off. He then realized that he had dropped his wallet out at the park during the fight.Guy drove back to the park, and he went out to find the wallet. He was just standing up when the world went blank.Cynthia grieved for more than fifty years then one day she knew that she had to see if she could get the person who had killed Dale arrested.Alex listened the circumstances as described by Cynthia and decides that she will investigate the incident as a murder.Her investigation of the suspects identified by Cynthia lead to a dead end.The only other people involved were Dale's best friends.The interviews with the two friends seems to be leading nowhere. But during a tour of Guy's farm, Alex see's the object that the coroner had described as the weapon used to kill Dale.Dale is reburied at a new burial site that Cynthia has purchased and next to him is the plot that she has purchased for herself. She plans to be next to him for eternity.

Once she had the Aurea's parents bodies she decides that best way is to go to Brazil make the arrest and afterwards get the grandmother's signature on the adoption paper work.Alex and Matt, who had taken her in let her know that they would like to adopt her.She then realizes that she has a grandmother in Brazil who never really liked her, and she worries that she will be sent back to her.Alex shows her Brazilian and American adoption papers and lets her know that she is loved and wanted.

He learns that it is a quick way to the afterlife.Alex returns to Cincinnati, arrests Dr. Thornfield, has him charged with money laundering and tax evasion as well as with bodily harm, and pain and anguish of his patients.She also arrests Jason Gravely for premeditated murder intent of his ex-wife and her partner.Alex is given as surprise roast for not only having solved the two Cincinnati based cases but for also having the Chicago mafia boss charged with money laundering and with the attempted murder of a law enforcement officer.She deflects the praise and puts Johnnie forward as the one that has the "Magic Touch" that lets her solve her cases.

Alex continues to seek his arrest.He is tracked to New Orleans but escapes capture. He is then tracked to St. Louis where he is captured.During arraignment, he escapes and heads west. He is sure that he will be able to re-establish his operation once he gets to Mexico.He believes that he has leverage with the drug dealers and seeks them out for money and help in getting across the border.He is taken prisoner in San Diego by the Uncle of the drug pusher he killed during his recruiting period.The uncle uses a nail gun to slowly kill Liam. Elisa one of the drug pushers that he imprisoned for almost a year extracts her share of revenge.Alex gets to Liam too late. She finds him full of nails with one nail in each eye and two through his forehead.He case ends on a sad note and with her feeling guilty that she feels Liam deserved what he had in the end received.

The team and his friends sail on following the sea currents ever southward.Then the time comes to take the currents back across to the west. The storm that hits is one of the worst that Taelo has ever experienced. The rafts are driven backwards as the storm roars over them.The journey back to the starting point and then back to the clan meeting has taken several seasons and everyone returns rich in knowledge, rich in furs and sharks teeth and truly developed visionary future leaders of the clan.
