Diese oft inadaquate Versorgung ist einerseits Folge einer gewis- sen Vernachlassigung dieser Krankheitsgruppe wahrend der Ausbil- dung zum Facharzt, andererseits durch die Abhangigkeit von Lehr- biichern bedingt, die eine groBe Anzahl uveitischer Syndrome beschreiben und in alphabetischer Reihenfolge anfUhren, wobei weni- ger klinische als vie1mehr wissenschaftliche Gesichtspunkte im Vor- dergrund stehen. Es miissen auch zahl- reiche andere wichtige Gesichtspunkte in Erwagung gezogen werden, die nicht unmittelbar mit diesen Symptomen zusammenhangen. Zum Beispiel kann die Erkrankung einseitig oder beidseitig auftreten und der Beginn kann beinahe unbemerkt oder sehr plotzlich verlaufen.
