Il metodo di irrigazione superficiale il pi antico e comune metodo di irrigazione. Consiste in un'ampia classe di metodi di irrigazione in cui l'acqua scorre sulla superficie del suolo e si distribuisce sul campo per gravit con l'intenzione che l'acqua applicata si infiltri nel suolo.
